Hows dem special teams doe?
I believe it’s spelled doh.
Hows dem special teams doe?
In last year's Natl Champ game, changing his QB at halftime was an example of a great coaching decision by Saban and Bama won.
This was only a good decision cause it worked and they won, if they would've lost people would've said that's so stupid you put a freshman in the champ game blah blah blah
The principles for being a successful major college football coach are the same as they are in business or in life in general.
The key is being able to MAKE GOOD DECISIONS. Great coaches make great decisions !

Please give an example of even ONE good coaching decision made by Mork Richt in his entire coaching career. Or has he skated along and won games just by having good talent.

Well not getting Jordan and Mallory... pretty F’d up. Amirite!!!?We have savage TEs and if we had a different coach they wouldn’t have come, so we can be a holes and bring up what he’s not doing well (which obviously a real ST coach would be better) but don’t ignore stuff he’s done ABOVE exceptional and this also includes pretty much every player from Jax.
I’m guessing you’d be the same individual complaining about not getting Jordan and Mallory

there is some serious smoke blowing around that Mallory is seriously thinking about transferring. If he didn’t sign those 2 guys I’d say keeping Hartley isn’t a win, he’s not good as ST coach but the guy had a better offer and more money from a SEC powerhouse and stayed so that is a Richt win
Saban wasn't going to beat UGA last year with Hurts. Everyone who had a modicum of common sense knew it.
because at that point he had nothing to lose ....GA was outplaying them badlyAnd why did he wait until the national championship game to make the move? I mean, Tua is clearly head and shoulders better than Hurts or any other QB Bama has had under Saban. Why did it take him 12 1/2 games to pull the trigger on what should have been an obvious move? It's because coaches, even good ones are often stubborn and overly conservative. It's often not the best player getting the snaps but the one the coach feels more comfortable with.
His pops is a coach at the highest level and has seen guys like Sean Payton, and now Tom Coughlin up close.there is some serious smoke blowing around that Mallory is seriously thinking about transferring.
So all of a sudden in the 2nd half a light went off in Saban's head and said I can win this thing if I bench Hurts. He was 12-1 as the starter
17TD's - 1INT, and avg a Whopping 150 yds passing per game.
It's called Desperation, at that point he had nothing to lose

Nah, they weren't winning that game without Tua. They couldn't move the ball because the other kid couldn't throw. Sound familiar?
