I have three nesting pairs within a 3 mile radius of my house.
Some years back, I had turned out of my community onto the State Rd.
There was a Bald Eagle eating roadkill on the shoulder, as I was about to pass him/her. She took off just inches from my windshield. The wingspan covered my trucks entire windshield. Thank god he didn’t hit me. Windshields can be replaced, but not these magnificent birds.
 


19 years of age. Killed during a professional cycling race because someone just entered the track with his car ignoring all warning signs. The tweet in question is from the english commentator who announced the kids passing via a translated statement. I've never heard something so deeply horrifying.

It's just another reminder, given what has transpired on here over the past few days, that nothing matters and that nothing that we do or say on here matters, because it may be the last thing we communicate forever.

Hug your loved ones, your friends, respect death and cherish the remaining days you have left.

She used to be with one of the Klitschko brothers. Not sure if the Mayor of Kyiv or his brother.

Tim Curry wasn't the first person to cross-dress on film, but his over-the-top work in The Rocky Horror Picture Show was a milestone for mainstream gender non-conformity.

Here in DC, the movie played at the Key Theater (an indie movie house in Georgetown) for nine years, starting back in the 1970s. Shown every weekend, at midnight only. Def a cult thing.
