The episode where Mr Jefferson meets his daughter-in-law's "zebra" parents would have drawn all kinds of complaints. Helmsley and O'Connor killed it in that, and many, shows.

I’m originally from Queens and so were my parents. My Dad was a NY cop and my Mom a Nurse. Both born and raised in the west side of Queens where it butts up against the East River. My brothers and I often referred the them as” Edith and Archie”…. Affectionately of course.

I have family who lived and grew up in Flushing. Good, salt of the earth, and hardworking people live in the area.

Queens at one time was considered “ the country “ to the people in the City. The wealthy had summer homes there around the turn of the 19th century. But, post WW2 the working class/Blue collars moved there to get out of the City, eventually it became a working class/middle class borough. Great place for a kid to grow up in the 50’s and 60’s, a lot of life lessons learned there.

This one really hurts. Jackie the Bald Eagle, followed by many on a nest cam, has died after a mysterious illness and a fight with another eagle.
