The best of the "Shannon Era" Hurricanes versus the best of the "Golden Era" Hurricanes. Who would win head-to-head, and why? And yes their era's respective coaching staffs would be on the sideline...

If they're playing in the Orange Bowl i've got Golden.
 
6-3 score, shannon would win. Shannon abortion of offense would counteract with Goldens peewee scheme while golden era offense would be neutralized by shannon defense.
 
Tough call. Both are horrible. If I had to pick one I would go with Golden's 2012 team. Morris had us rolling despite AL, and I think we would out score Shannon's best defensive team, whichever one that was. Corch bowl.
 
The racist regime who fired Shannon but kept Golden with the same crap record. They both sucked and need to be long gone, so why the **** is Golden still here.
 
Randy's 2010 DEFENCE was legit. Created a lot of turnovers. So that alone would give me the slight edge to him.

U mean the defense that got thrashed up the gut on every play and lost 45-0 to FSU at home? LULZ

The premise of this thread is the equivalent of putting the two fattest girls you've ever seen in bikini's and then attempting to judge which one is hotter.
 
Once again why do we compare a HC in his first gig to a HC with experience... For UM being his first job RS was better than Al... We knew RS underachieved because he showed us flashes that he could have won the conference multiple times during his tenure... Al never showed that... At least RS beat the conference champions in a very good GT and VT squads in 08-09... He actually dominated both teams...
 
Massive, epic suck age from both of these clowns...and one of them tried to bail on us for PSU while the other is now a damned Gator. #### both of them. Just total douchery . Both are the very definition of SUCK. Worst coaches I've ever seen even worse than such gems as Carl Selmer.
