The back is Perryman's responsibility. Bush just let Christian run right by him.
So it's on the players?
I will say Deon Bush had a pretty subpar game - reads, angles, etc. Almost any time he's put in position to make a read, he's a step late. I don't really blame him because I know what kind of player he's supposed to be.
He's one of the most obvious downhill Safeties we've had here in a while. In the alternative, I'd feel more comfortable giving him a single assignment. Something like "cover #18 the entire game; yourself." If I were the D-Coordinator and had a choice between what we're asking him to do now and something that extreme, I'd honestly give him a peewee football lockdown assignment.
I am confused by this comment. Isn't this saying that bush isn't very good? He can't grasp defense. I think this is more an indictment on him than the dc.
This is going to get me in some ****, but this and the three guys bunched isn't coaching. The three guys together is the players not lining up correctly granted they are still to far from the ball. This picture again is still confusion by the players, they didn't shift into the right formation none of the lbs or cbs slid over to cover the strong side. I don't know what the call was for the defense but those are simple mistakes made by players. Coach can't walk on the field and line you up, if there is this much confusion it also falls on the coaches for players not knowing how to line up.
also, the other guy is right. I only see 10 guys on the field. Maybe I am missing someone?
