Glaring Weaknesses

I keep hearing "we need a third WR". It's clear Beck likes to spread the ball, and Toney/Daniels will always be the first looks. I think the third option will honestly vary by game. Beck has more than enough options at his disposal lol. I don't understand why people are that concerned

Soft remaining schedule. Easy to get up playing ND & rivals, so can focus be maintained weekly against inferior teams?
This is a veteran team, and I can’t see them lacking the mental focus to get through the season. Thanks to COVID, this team has six starters who would normally be out of eligibility. These old men better not fold lol.

DL depth is beyond a glaring weakness. Like walking a razor blade weakness. We only have two DE that can play all three downs , run and pass. DT depth is bad too. Our guys Saturday looked like they were one pass rush away from dying.
I agree Defensive line depth is a major concern. I do believe the upcoming schedule will give this staff the ability to get some young guys on the field and build some depth. Pickett and Simpson got a few snaps against FSU, hopefully Scroggins, McConathy, Jones, and Russell can also get on the field and develop.

Is James Brockermeyer also a glaring weakness? Because he was a trigger happ
How about WR depth?
Penalties? Pretty lousy in the second half against FSU. The refs did us no favors though.
DL? We had concerns about depth there since before spring. What team doesn’t have DL depth concern? Texas? Oops. Penn State? Double oops.
Yes they are concerns. Glaring weakness? Eh.

If you want to pick apart my comment, pick it apart in its entirety.

Quite a few plays Jackson manhandled him. The one Toney TD that got called back he gets absolutely destroyed

I genuinely have no clue how they come up with this stuff

He’s playing solid though imo
Yeah I thought a big reason they were able to limit our run game is because #5 & 6 (think there was one more guy maybe #44?) won more than they lost against our interior OL. #5 completely blew a couple of plays up - Lyle's first run was one. @rsa coral gables pointed out that White adjusted and played with a lighter box after halftime into the first drive of the 4th. We had more success running in the second half, but we still didn't dominate them inside. Thought we missed some opportunities to get to the second level in duo cause they were such a handful inside.

we didn't dominate them with the lighter boxes but our runs were dramatically longer. also, Anez Cooper had perhaps his worst game in the last two seasons. A few mental mistakes that allowed pressure and he simply got beat a few times.

Losing Lowe hurt, he could have eaten some snaps on Saturday for sure. Also what is up with Cole? I know he was injured over summer but I was surprised he was not on the "injury" report mario put out yet I dont think he has dressed all year. He is one that can play the run or get in on early downs with Lightfoot and Pickett being the 3rd and long guys. Maybe Scorggins can accelerate as he came in with some good weight already but relying on TF is never ideal. Otherwise I could see Blount playing more DE, it would be nice if Artavius Jones could step up on the interior as well but looks like SImpson already beat him for the DT4 spot.

Perhaps your therapist can prescribe you a higher dose of Xanax for that anxiety you live with.
If you don't understand how a glaring weakness is associated or leads to a concern, then you're the one that needs to be on medication. And please, don't send me a direct message after this exchange like the last time. I don't care for men in my dm's.

Off topic, but do you have any thoughts on what the OL was doing on the 4th & 8? Pretty neat play design leaking Toney out with Bauman dragging across the middle, but think something went wrong protection wise. Unbalanced line with Bell to the right of CiCi. Entire OL slanted to the left after the snap. Bell blocked #5 (DT), CiCi blocked air, no one blocked the end.
