Girard Pringle Jr (not hurt) forgotten?

Chips needs to get on peptides and deer antler spray. I heard the regenerative clinic across the street from campus that A-rod used to frequent is back up and running.

Heard Pringles got a yearly subscription and he’s up to 220

Play boi hears ALOT. Keep ya head down chicken

Is that more or less than the number of games Lyle was available/eligible for?

Hope they both ball.
Lyle?

Maybe lyle is better in pass pro…If you can’t pass pro your snaps will always be in jeopardy

If you can’t block, you can’t play for Mario. It’s that simple. In his defense, he was a true freshman last year and was thrown into some fairly tough spots so I’d be shocked if his pass protection isn’t vastly improved this year.
I don't think he actually missed any assignments, he just got run over by a 6'5" 235 LB going top 5 in the NFL draft. We can assume he's been hitting the weight room and working on it like you said.

For those putting Brown ahead.......

Charmar Brown 3.9 YPC
Girard Pringle Jr 6.0 YPC

Pringle is more likely to improve his blocking than Marty is to find another 2 yards per run. Pringle wasn't breaking off 80 yard runs to the outside to get that average. He was right up the A gap just like Marty.

Edit...like @JHallCanes said what happens when Pringle starts breaking a few more of those arm tackles? 7-8 YPC?

Nah. Pass pro is irrelevant. No coaches care about it. Just go out there and look around while your QB is in the pocket, it’s fine.

Pringle reminds me of Toney with his shake and bake moves. The entire RB / WR roster is loaded with incredible athletes ... it's up to Dawson to be creative. He has the weapons to give any DC in the NCAA nightmares.

we'll never know if he keeps getting ran over by 6'5 235 lbs guys ...

To be clear he did actually give Beck enough time to get rid of it. People are way over selling this. He didn't come back instead of going to bama to sit on the bench and the coaches did not pay him to do so.

Give him more of Marty Brown’s carries. There’s no reason a guy who averages under 4 ypc should be our #2 guy.

Exactly. Brown irregardless will have a role IMO. He's $ on short yardage. Also that closer role is excellent.

Another way to slow down blitzes vs Pringle is to leak him out and get 70. Mensah has better feet and can buy time.

Agreed. There are things Brown does well but he’s below average as an FBS running back. We desperately need one of our other guys to get better at blocking.
