Get him heeeeeeeere! Right naaaaaaaa

He’s good at it and it has to be a sweet gig with the money he’s getting from UF. But coaches are built different. They always come back.

Yeah, he just seems like a guy with such an enormous ego that OC doesn't suit him.

This is the guy. I've spammed it in multiple threads now. Every time Miami comes up, he is either praising or defending the program. The guy would definitely take the job. He knows we're playing UF in a couple years too.

The problem is, we don't know if Mario would even consider replacing Ponce. I seriously doubt he views Ponce as the problem.

Although.. I wouldn't be surprised to find out Mullen wants the job badly enough that he'd be ok with not bringing in his own people and keeping Ponce as WR coach.

Just remember who was driving the Mullen bus a year ago.

Again, why do we think this?
I believe it was @Cribby who said he's alread thrown his name in the ring to be HC 3x.

He knows what he can do at Miami. He knows that the offers for some meh job like GT for example will always be there no matter how the OC stop goes.

He also knows that success as a coordinator at a major program, on top of his track record, would guarantee him much better offers.

Okay, but if the savants on this board already know that Mario is stubborn and wants a slow, plodding offense, wouldn't Mullen be privy to that information?

Do we actually see Mario going for a guy like Mullen? Would they actually get along?..Honestly asking
