Georiga, That's A Real Offense

Georgia's whole team is mostly seniors. Probably the best situation a freshman qb can come into. Also Fromm was a 5 star recruit him playing well isnt a shock but I'd bet georgia has a huge drop off next year. Something like how Michigan was this year.

Being from Georgia, I've been saying this verbatim all year. Georgia is playing with 21 and 22 year olds minus the QB and he is **** good, from my hometown.

Oklahoma's defense gave up a LOT of points this year. They were ranked in the low 60's in total defense. UGA played a great game and Fromm has come a long, long way from early in the year when they didn't trust him to throw. He averaged under 200 yards a game for most of the year. That O-line and running game were grinders all year long. They didn't let Fromm lose they beat people in the trenches and played tough D. Nothing flashy about that offense. But they went against a D that got rolled up this year.

They got a True Freshman QB.
He's not mobile, he can't run.
They let him change the play at the line of scrimmage if need be.
They have motion in their offense.
They direct snap to the RB.

Why you think Richt had to give up play calling at UGA?
Cause his play calling sucked!

Now he wants to come here and call plays.
It's year two and his play calling still sucks!

Last year he had a QB who could throw.
But the excuse was he's not mobile.
This year he got a mobile QB.
But the excuse is he can't throw.

I'm starting to think we need more than a OC.
Coach Chud is available.

i like how you conveniently left out that they have an incredible offensive line and a pair of nfl-caliber running backs.

Exactly.... Their oline is great

The key is both great RB's AND a great OL. That's been Bama's recipe under Saban, and Kirby is copying it at Georgia.

Georgia has Holyfield/Swift/White/Cook at RB next year. They're stacked. Miami will also be stacked with Homer/Dallas/Lingard.

But Georgia also has 6 Top 100 OL recruits in 2017 & 2018. Miami has 1 in the Top 200. That's the difference.

Yeah he's definitely mirroring Saban, but lets not pretend like its Kirby's guys who are shining.

Every single starter on both sides of the ball (except the QB, RG and RT) was a Richt recruit. 13 seniors (including the back up RB)

I hear you - but Kirby has Richt's guys in the NC game. Richt could never do that with his own guys over 15 recruiting classes at Georgia. Richt's best year was his 2nd year, when he wasn't playing "his guys".

Kirby had the #3 recruiting class last year, and has the #1 class this year. Richt only had a Top 5 class twice in 15 years.

On the field and in recruiting, Kirby is moving the needle from really good to great.

Richt best year is year 2.. Kirby's best year (so far albeit) is Year 2....

Watch what the Real Offense does against Saban.

He eats that I-form off tackle run game for ******* breakfast every single day.

Nobody gives a **** about your hometown, Andrew.

When you have Michel and Chubb it’s easy to call plays.

Arguably the best backfield tandem in college football history.

You must be too young to remember Eric ****erson and Craig James...

or clinton portis and frank gore
How about:
Thurman Thomas, Barry Sanders

Or
Ronnie Brown, Cadillac Williams (both 1st round picks)
Reggie Bush, Lendale White (1st and 2nd round picks)
Lawrence Maroney, Marion Barber (1st rd, 4th rd)
Darren Mcfadden, felix jones (both 1st rd picks)

IMO, Georgia's current offense is the one Richt wants to run here. It's very similar to what he ran when he was there, honestly. Stock a stable of RBs, run the ball, set up playaction, keep the D honest and exhausted.

I'll take it!!!
