Georgia NIL leak on Jackson Cantwell

Cantwell better be the next Johnathan Ogden the way this is playing out
High upside but not a class breaker. Once he gets adjusted to top type speed/talent then he will shoot through the roof. Mizzou probably has better than Mass...which is why i was always wait n see with Samson and even his growth been stunted by the injury and getting acclimated.

Cantwell you get his fet weet his freshman year a bit and see what you have second szn.

Another instate guy i like is Chancellor Campbell. He has crazy length and good feet from basketball for pass pro.

I may be totally off here, but wouldn’t we kinda want him to push his commitment date back? I just don’t see a world where he leaves Athens on Sunday, and then commits to Miami the very next day

sucked here. he cycles through because he is an sec alumni, with connections to Mack Brown and a ton of others that he either played withor coached with that wholds weight he is seen as a gray beard. 30 year veteran college coach 14 draft picks. Hes int he SEC matrix....he can get fired at UGA and would be hired at an arkansas or ole miss.
So, he’s just a good ol boy? Coaches at those SEC schools get paid big bucks & asses are on the line. Folks aren’t real patient. Stupid saying they hire Searels cause he’s been around the block & easy to be around. Smart can hire probably any OL coach in the country, but wrote a check to get him from UNC. If he’s horse**** he’ll let him go in a second. Just like he’ll reassign his buddy OC.
Mirabal is legit and glad we have him, but for now his resume is thin compared to Searels. He’s worked for one guy - Mario.
Point of all this nonsense is to challenge the argument that the kid will only get developed at Miami. Hopefully he comes here, but as yet Miami’s development of OL is overstated and based on promise.

Again, you made a blanket statement based on 1 year. Cherry picking when you have 2 years prior stats. If the trend of the results of 2024 continue you than have an argument, with just the 2024 season you don't.
There is a huge sample size with Searels. He’s been around forever. The sample says he sucks.

We all saw him here. Then he went to North Carolina and finished 103rd, 110th and 125th in sack percentage in three years.

Georgia was already the national champion when he got there. Now three years in, they’re 102nd in rushing and their QB ended the season in the hospital.

UGA is great. Searels sucks.

He’s staying until Monday, his commitment date is Tuesday

If Miami averaged 3.9 yards per carry on the season with all the superstars and high draft picks Georgia had on their offensive line, we’d want Mirabal fired. Searles has an all star team to work with and their line was GARBAGE.

You specifically said Georgia. And this year they still had 1 guy go in the 2nd and 2 in the third. NFL has a different opinion than you. Just stop with UGA doesn't develop OL.

And IDC about the 1 season you point to. It's 1 year.

UGA

2023
Yards Per Rush Attempt
9th in the country w/5.3

2022
Yards Per Rush Attempt
3rd in the country w/5.6
Hey bruh, this isn’t dawgsinsight. It’s CANESinsight!

this isnt the person u need to advocate for...or d_ride Kirby smart.

We know uga and other guys can coach ol...But stacey searles coached here before we seen enough of him to know what he is.

He went to Auburn for school...coached at LSU, Auburn, UGA x2, Hes a gray beared ol coach with 30 years experience that will get the Mack Brown and Mark Richt references anytime he is interviewed.

You might be the only person on here other than the undercover ug fans that thinks he is an elite ol coach after him coaching here for 3+ years.

He better have the talent or he will be ***, thankfully he got Kirby locking them up. And they were still ****
Kirby?

I think you mean boosters along with the Saban blueprint of under the table, illegal dealings while coaching a team in a **** town (albeit the SEC).

Racist *** Kirby ain’t **** without that!

UGA gets the best players coming in. Of course they have NFL talent. But under Searels, the performance of those players has gone straight downhill. And they have nobody projected as a top guy next year.

You have two OL coaches who arrived at the same time (2022) going in opposite directions.
Love your takes, but this seems a bit strong for the home team. Just deal in what we know. As you say Searels and Mario/Mirabal have a track record after 3 yrs. Miami developed 2 draftable OL - Rivers (5th) and Lee (7th - portal) - and have nice pieces in the pipeline. Georgia developed 7 - two 1st, one 2nd, two 3rd, two 5th. So, hard saying Georgia OL has gone straight downhill. Return two solid tackles, including Freeling, who we wanted, and brought in 6-7 recruits.

Not advocating for anyone, though find comfort in facts and results. Sorry if confusing. I’ll let u ride Mirabal and hope you’re right.

Mario plans out too much for what he wants to do with a commitment. If someone gives you a silent, tell them to make it public. No more of this oh I gotta plan to drop them all in 1 month. Lot can change in that time. And sure technically all the same things that are getting that player to go somewhere else are still there and can happen, but a public commitment already made can absolutely be that 1% difference. Far easier to just stick with the decision you already made. And it’s far harder to have to work to flip a public commitment from 5 star players.

Get these top recruits to commit asap, period
That doesn't keep them from taking visits and/or decommitting.

My only hope is that he pushes it back and OVs here. That’s a pie in the sky dream, but until that happens I’m believing he’s signed, sealed and delivered to UGA.

I agree on Searles not being great, but you said Georgia. Let's see where they are this and next year.
