Gattis to Iowa makes too much and the most sense…great fit …if by Sunday between 11am-6pm there’s no moves or rumors then he is staying while I’m watching NFL games
Mario learned from experience how much coaches changes can be a distraction
Out respect for Iowa let them play their bowl game then drop the news
 
I just can't fathom a guy who claims he is all in on bringing back Miami not making a change to the OC that just produced the worst offensive output that I've ever seen. That output included not scoring a TD over the course of multiple games against teams that are decidedly average, if not a little above average. Injuries or not, that doesn't change the fact that Gattis has no feel for the game and did not call, objectively, a single great offensive game all year (not including the non FBS schools). If Gattis is brought back, then my expectations for Mario's tenure will be severely walked back because that to me screams my ego and philosophy are more important than making the right moves.

Now with that said, if Mario does fire Gattis and we replace him with a legit OC, then the party is back on and I'm going to say I knew it all along lol

It’s really a wash if he stays or not because next OC will be James Coley and mario will continue to be 75/25 Run/Pass ratio

I like this @Empirical Cane Much easier for me to keep my list.

Unless Im mistaken, the only tea leaf that the negative nellie camp is reading to justify their stance is that he is still on payroll and hasnt publicly parted ways (which is fair). Im not hearing any other argument or tea leaf unless I missed it.

I'm still confident that Gattis will be gone. Still too early to drop my gun and retreat. Ive been wrong before and will be wrong again. Happy to admit it if it happens and take all the ball busing that I deserve if he stays.
