Sadly, it’s not just the delusional UF jack a$$es
that think this way about their team. Majority of the SEC **** bag fans feel this way. Even after being embarrassed last season by other conferences, they still think they are closer to the NFL than college football.
 
I can’t wait into the season and some start decommiting . If fsu was to beat them after getting stomped in the acc the tears would be bad . They’ll call for him to get fired in Year one .

Got an Oklahoma fan in my office and he keeps running that sec meat grinder line and it’s about the path to the CFB playoffs and why they should have more teams in there.

It’s exhausting just being around them sometimes. A lot of SEC fans are good people and knowledgeable when comes to sports.
But bring up the SEC or conferences in general and they lose their minds go full ******. There is no productive discussion or reasoning with them.

I’m telling you guys, I saw this from the very beginning - this ************ is fake as **** and he’s trying too hard. He’s cooked.

Dude’s trying to convince an entire room of media people that he’s a tough guy that doesn’t put up with any ****, performing in front of everybody and acting out how he’s going to have a disciplined and well coached team. So he berates some wimpy *** reporter in a room full of media people.

Then, to show what a loser he is, he says he was joking. Watch the video. He was not joking. But the best part is now he’s backtracking, lying by saying he was joking, guy is a complete clown.

Hey, Coach country fried steak, aka Twinblade, aka G5 Jonny - it doesn’t work that way. You have to get actual results.

What you are doing, though, is showing the sure signs of a loser. A person who deep down is scared, and has no real confidence in what their plan is, so they are constantly trying to prove to people that they’ve got it together.

Complete bull****. "The SEC meat grinder"...so the solution is...give all 12 CFP slots to the SEC so they can go through another 4 weeks of "the SEC meat grinder" to crown a blood-soaked SEC team as the national champion? More like "the SEC human centipede".

6. Ole Miss
7. aTm
8. Oklahoma
9. Alabama

Four of those five teams lost the VERY FIRST GAME they played against a non-SEC team.

The ONLY team that beat any non-SEC teams was Ole Miss. You know, the school that "should have" been out of gas, what with its head coach leaving, and the constant uncertainty as to who would be on the sidelines coaching each week.

Two of those five teams played non-SEC teams in the final regular-season weekend. Another one played Auburn in the final weekend, and another played Mississippi State. Auburn and MSU were 2 of the 4 worst teams in the SEC, each having only ONE win in the SEC on the year.

Four of those five teams had THREE WEEKS to recover from that brutal SEC season before playing their first CFP games.

I would challenge anyone to list the significant injuries for any of those five teams which led to "CFP-time" SEC teams being weaker than "regular-season" SEC teams.

And yet over and over and over and over and over again, we are led to believe that the SEC, somehow, has it HURDER than any other conference, at least when it comes to translating their inherent greatness into, you know, ACTUAL CFP WINS.

Look, I have an ideal solution for all of this. If F$U, when they lost their QB in 2023, was sooooooo much worse as a CFP team than they had been during the regular season, then why can't we apply the same logic to the SEC?

Since the big, bad SEC is soooooo beat up after suuuuuuuch a challenging regular season that they "just aren't themselves any longer", then we should all try to reflect that reality by lowering the CFP rankings of all the poor, poor bruised SEC teams.

So let's re-rank 2025 for CFP purposes.

3. UGa - hey, they won the SEC championship.
6. Miami - hey, we pretty much proved that we were ranked too low, correct?
7. Notre Dame - they only lost to the #6 team
8. BYU - 11 wins and no "hurd schedule" whining
9. Utah - 10 wins and also no whining
10. UVa - I thought we weren't punishing teams that lost the conference championship, right?
11. Tulane - them's the rules
12. James Madison - ditto

This act of kindness will allow four SEC-SEC-SEC teams to slooooowly recover from their brutal 2025 conference schedule in time for their brutal 2026 conference schedule. And after all, they are being richly compensated by ESPN for all of that amazing regular-season content that is just soooooo much better than anyone else's content.

Honestly, would the CFP have turned out any differently with those teams above? I mean, I guess we would have lost a couple of weeks of hand-wringing about whether Ole **** could survive without Lane Train, but other than that, would anyone else have noticed a near-complete-absence of SEC schools?

I think not.

Be kind. Let the SEC heal. Keep them out of the CFP.
 
I can admit it: I was a Summrall fan. Thought he was an excellent hire for UF and that he'd do big things for them (at least by recent standards for that program), but idk man, after the SEC Media Day performance ... I must re-evaluate. Big time fake tough guy vibes.

He may have instantly vaulted into my all time Top 3 Hated Gator Coaches. And he hasn't even coached a game for them yet.

Just an elite demonstration of Gator/SEC smugness he put on display. Makes me think we won't be playing them for another 10 years+. Mark it down: He will duck us for as long as he can. Only way they schedule us while he is there is if their alumni booster base force the issue.

Yeah I actually read the tweet first and assumed it was taken out of context and it was likely a joke and just someone trying to stir up drama.

Then I saw the video and his reaction and I was like oh **** nah he was legit mad lol so I went into it thinking it was a joke, already predisposed to see the joke and I came away with a different conclusion

I thought he was an excellent hire when they whiffed on Mr. Kiffin as well but now I just think he’s another ******* **** even if he pans out

These guys think they’re winning 9-10 games in year 1, when Vegas has them at ~6.5 and they’ve got Aaron Philo under center.

These are the same people who said Sumrall was a bum when they lost out on Lane. Reminder also that Billy was 40-12 going into his first year at UF.

Sumrall is 43-12… And no, taking over a Tulane program on autopilot from Willie Fritz, and getting blown out in the CFP doesn’t make him any better than what Billy had going in four years ago.
