Exactly, as of last night Texas & Ohio State had past UF in the 247 Composite Rankings. UF would be ranked 9th in the 247 Composite if it wasn’t for ESPN’s newly released team rankings.

Their average is a lot lower than the classes around them too. Not saying it’s a garbage class, but it’s quantity vs quality at this point. LSU, UGA and Bama are lurking too in the SEC. Wouldn’t shock me if they fell into the 10-12 range when it’s all said and done. Especially if they struggle on the field.

Brings back bad memories of the Golden years.

I don't give a crap about the relative rankings. I know our coaches are better at evals and crooting than anything the gator could even dream of. The media keeps propping these losers up, but they can't win games for them on Saturdays.

Bama lurking ? They’re like 47 they want be in the top 10 either . Gators will not be in the top 10 when It’s over . More like 15 if I’m guessing . When they start getting spanked they lose some kids to.

They get the wrong character and player most of the time, might get a few but a few aint enough especially in the trenches

I think the new leaders board relatively accurately reflects the buzz.

Canes, Domers, all three Texas programs, Oregon, Taint. If USC could ever settle in as a program they’d be right there. LSU with a recruiting coach could be right there.

“Near Top” still BCS level would be Bama with a recruiting coach, UGA, Oklahoma, Michigan. Oklahoma is high right now and can pop up because of the oil money, I don’t think they’re sustainable in the new era.

False positives are UF and Auburn.

Was just going to mention Auburn. You think their #10 class is a that high with that first year coach push? I can’t remember was he a good recruiter at S FL?

Until I see a NSD come and go without Bama inside the T10 I’m penciling them in there. My point is, there’s sharks that swim in the deepest of waters out there. UF is in a place that they can’t hold on to long term.

Yea UF recruits are there till a better offer comes along. They basically us in our down years. Hold a spot then leave as soon as you can. They a fallback option

Yes, Arkansas, Mizzou, Vandy, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Texas, and Oklahoma are the SEC teams to have never won the SEC Championship.

Its somewhat of a conspiracy theory, as Mizzou and A&M joined in the 2012 expansion, Arkansas and South Carolina joined in the 1991 expansion, and then Texas and Oklahoma joined in 2024. Vandy is the only OG member of the group, but everyone has kind of understood why they had never won the conference. The theory also began prior to UT and OU joining the SEC. But the refs have earned their reputation over the years, and now everyone just kind of accepts it because it’s what they had to do for “SEC.”
