And if he bought it legally, making $20k, his first choice for 9mm would have been a cheap Hi-Point.
He probably drove down to Tijuana and bought an illegal gun and some cheap boner pills...

While Black Friday remains a critical day for many retailers and is still arguably the most popular shopping day of the year, it’s no longer defined by the in-person experience. Millions of shoppers are expected to visit malls, big-box stores and specialty retailers on Friday, but millions more are expected to stay at home and shop online from their phones and computers.

How Black Friday became a retail letdown: 'To sustain the ride, they started to dilute it'
Black Friday used to be the biggest in-person shopping event of the year, but for six straight years, online sales have outpaced stores.www.cnbc.com
Noles too! This assumes, arguendo, that Gator fans know how to use the interwebz for shopping...
Never assume Gator intelligence on Gator Tears...

Carrying a Glock doesn’t mean “open carry”. Concealed carry is legal with appropriate license in caliThis is the absolute BULL**** of Jon Sumrall.
He "PROBABLY" carried a Glock around on his hip.
So, first of all, California is not an open-carry state, or at least it was not so at the time of this alleged (bull****) story. Perhaps Sumrall is confessing to a crime because the statute of limitations has passed, or to build up his street cred. Whatever. All I know is that the University of San Diego is not located anywhere near the mean streets of South Central (as USC is). It's freakin' right next door to Sea World.
Second, I highly doubt the claim of making "less than 20K a year" at USD. Maybe that was his salary as a GA at Kentucky. But in his first paid coaching job, he worked at USD form 2007 to 2011. Before becoming the ASSISTANT HEAD COACH/DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR, he was the DL coach AND the Recruiting Coordinator. Usually when you get TWO job designations, it is BECAUSE the university wants to justify paying you more money. Now, I get that USD is a Division I-AA school, and not as wealthy as SDSU across town. But I find it hard to believe that a college football coach doing TWO JOBS was making under $20K, even at an FCS school. And for the record, USD was a WINNING program in I-AA, the head coach right before Sumrall was hired was a guy by the name of Jim Harbaugh. Who went 11-1 the prior TWO years before Sumrall was hired.
Third, and this is where it gets really interesting, Sumrall has SPECIFIC knowledge of the type of gun (a Glock) but expresses uncertainty as to whether he wore it on his hip every night ("probably"). Highly unconvincing, and the typical evidence of a bull****ter (use of the word "probably" to describe an otherwise highly-specific factual claim).
Finally, and we'll just leave this one here, he claims he is "not in it for the money". Because he was not paid a lot IN HIS FIRST PAID JOB. But, hey, maybe he could see a FUTURE of "money". After all, the guy who was the USD HEAD COACH right before Sumrall took the USD job...went on to have THESE next 4 jobs: Head Coach at Stanford, Head Coach at San Francisco 49ers, Head Coach at Michigan, Head Coach at San Diego Chargers. So, you know, I don't know, maybe Sumrall knew he would EVENTUALLY be paid a lot more than "less than 20K per year". Maybe that's what caused him to coach at SIX DIFFERENT SCHOOLS in the past 10 seasons. After all, we can't expect him to take pay cuts at any of those six different schools, right?
Jon Sumrall is a world-class bull****ter. He may be fooling the Gator recruits for now. But over time, truth wins out.

I'll just say that "on his hip" wouldn't have been concealed. Appendix carry or small of the back is concealed. How about you go **** off with this nonsense. You're responding to people with law degrees who understand the laws, not to some slobbering dip**** like Jon Sumrall.
First, most of my post was sarcastic/humorous and was directed to Sumrall acting like he's some sort of a bad-***, carrying a Glock "on his hip" (his words, not mine). Perhaps you should focus on critiquing Sumrall's words.
Second, Sumrall is complaining about how he didn't have two nickels to rub together in San Diego, not to mention the fact that he had just moved there from Kentucky. If you think some transient redneck with no money and no future (he "isn't in it for the money) actually has the cash/time/attention to spend on (a) a Glock, (b) legal advice, and/or (c) a license, then you are welcome to assume that Jon Sumrall was in full and complete legal compliance with the laws of California.
I carry every single day. “On my hip” doesn’t mean open carry. There’s a differenceI'll just say that "on his hip" wouldn't have been concealed. Appendix carry or small of the back is concealed.
Cool. Me too. I'd also never say I had a Glock on my hip.I carry every single day. “On my hip” doesn’t mean open carry. There’s a difference
Why are you so confrontational all the time? Good lord I’m simply stating a fact about open carry vs concealed. I wasn’t defending this guy nor was I attacking the rest of your post. How about you go **** off with this nonsense. I don’t disagree with you, I’m not here to defend the gators coach. I was only differentiating between concealed and open carry for the lay peopleCool. Me too. I'd also never say I had a Glock on my hip.

wtf does your degree have to do with what I said? Should I bring up my “engineering degree” if I have a disagreement about change at the fast food counter? Sure wish i had a penny for every time you mentioned your “degree”
My firearm collection is valued in 6 figures, should I bring that up like a douche too? Or are only “lawyers” (who probably shot a rifle once in their life) allowed to have an opinion on firearms?
I’m very well versed when it comes to 2a laws, and unless you’re 2a attorney I’m likely much more educated on this topic than you.
I already know you are going to respond with some long rant (that I’m not going to read) because you aren’t emotionally able to let anything go (because you’re insecure). What you should do is either a) not respond, or b) just say “hey man youre right, you could conceal carry legally in cali so he probably meant that”
The proven recipe for disaster....I suspect Sumrall threw in the Glock comment simply because he’s living out his SEC coach fantasy, which in his short-sighted mind means he now drives a Chevy Silverado, chews tobacco, and loves the 2nd Amendment. He’s pandering to what he thinks his base wants, and that’s all.
No need for it to produce Cane-on-Cane fighting.
The first part or the second? The proven recipe for disaster....
