Tears Gator Tears

Hate to say it but summral is a beast on the field and trail, it’s upsetting that he’s so awesome and we should be scared - @Cane30

Exactly.

Good lord, I remember back in the good ol' days when Slingblade Billy Napier got FIVE verbals in one day.

It's time to chill out on "hey, this brand new Gator corch sure can recruit, can't he?". This happens EVERY ******* TIME. Much though I hate to admit it, a lot of kids from Florida and south Georgia actually like and respect The Gator as an institution.

It is VERY easy for a brand new Gator corch to walk around with zero baggage and a compelling vision for the future. Every Gator corch since Steve Spurrier has been able to get a bunch of recruits early in in his tenure, but only Spurrier and ***-dumpster were able to back up the "vision" promises after the first few years. All the rest of the Gator corches started tailing off in recruiting when the results didn't match the empty promises.

Give it time. Even corny corches occasionally succeed. The Gator might be able to beat some SEC teams that have made similar reaches with coaching hires (i.e., Alabama), but I tend to believe that Florida is going to struggle with the overall quality of the conference, particularly with sub-par quarterbacking.

Florida knows that their brand is on the brink and so they are throwing big money around from missing on Lane to prop up the recruiting while also taking advantage of the first year new coach bump. Give them this year to suck on the field smart of them to try to get kids on board before they start playing.

Once they suck again this year money will be tighter and the tears will flow again.

I definitely had interest in how Philo played at GT. The kid won a state championship and broke Trevor Lawrence's state record, passing for 14,000 yards in HS, but he was a 3 star. UF literally has the best skill talent on offense they have had since Urban. They brought in 3 transfers on their OL. OC Faulkner chose his former QB Philo. WR Singleton, obviously transfered in believing in his former OC and former backup QB. Their in lies the question, QB. I have heard T. Jones may win the job over Philo.
Sumrall is a odd southern coach to me that thinks he's clever. His vocal motivations have been odd reverse psychology crap off the field. On the field he's a straight hard ***. I have already stated, I believe Sumrall turns this around. Their recruiting already is what is really shocking me. They have the 2nd highest recruiting avg in this 2027 class. I hope they make the playoffs soon and we beat the crap out of them every year in the playoffs. That's the only way we play them and have the rivalry I want. I want what this ND game is about to be, again.
They are claiming they had 47,000 at the Spring game. Both UF and FSU QB transfers are in QB battles.

This is so laughable to me as a canes fan, your comment that This gators coach is killing on the field and recruiting. They are in Florida for Pete shake. On the field what field you do know they are playing there selfs right. When they play SEC comp they will fold like the paper championships that you claim they are. As far recruiting didn't Billy have great classes as well so miss me with all that. Are you okay as a canes fan?

I'm not 100% sure you know what site you're on, let alone what specific thread on that site.

Israel is ranked way higher and we took him first. In what universe is that “settling,” are these delusional meth addicts even trying with the troll game?
Based on what some of them have posted online, it seems they believe in their meth riddled brains that Davidson told us no which then prompted us to pursue Israel. So basically Davidson was our real 1st choice who spurned us for UF because the Gators are assume and therefore Israel is really our 2nd choice who we had to take by default.

Gator "Tears" are tears of maniacal laughter, not tears of trepidation. By the time I reached the end of this, all the "they/their"s seemed a bit disingenuous. Hoping the lizards make the playoffs gives off north of I-4 vibes--especially believing Sumerall's "straight hard ***...turns this around," instead of "that around," as in "I believe Corch Sum'rall's fake *** is actually flabby enough that if applied appropriately to extinguish the flaming dumpster ****-fire that the Gate's football program has become would itself burst into even greater flames of fire, with us Canes dancing around it in delirious joy, streams of Gator Tears flowing onto this page." Hoping that every lizard including Corch Sumerall comes down with a case of incurable flesh-eating jock itch that makes them unable to focus on anything but "their" agonizingly pruritic groins and they lose every game and fire "their" corch after one season is more of a "Canes' thing" than ever hoping the lizards crawl into bowl season with anything more than humiliation and syphilis.

My GF and I are visiting Miami tomorrow for a passport appt (from Gainesville), any recommendations on the best spots to get REAL Cuban food ? Haven’t been down there in a while and need a refresher 😂

I have it on good authority that Islas Canarias in the Dadeland Mall dining pavilion is as authentic and as good as it gets. 7 different kinds of croquetas, cafecita, even cubarritos if you want something on the go.

Where is my royalty check?

Did you miss my post above where they themselves are clowning their own attendance and saying their Spring game looked like a Billy Napier home game?

LOL yessir.

They said Muschamp was a great recruiter. He brought in top classes every year, but seems he forgot to recruit on the offensive side of the field.

I even remember saying Shark****er could recruit. Then they fired him for sitting his *** at The Swamp on prime recruiting days sucking back scotch because he thought all the recruits would just come to him.

Then they said Mullen was a great recruiter. And he got fired for being just as lazy on the trail. Loser got handed violations AND said himself he didn't think he needed to recruit elite talent.

You've already covered SpongeBath, but I will add that for as good of a recruiter as people say he was, he still couldn't figure out how to put together a two-deep to save his life.

@flagator86 knows what I'm talking about.
