Manny was a different type of fake tough guy and cringe than Sumrall.
For all of Manny’s faults, he would never do a stunt to intentionally marginalize, embarrass, or disrespect the players. He actually tried to be their buddy. Manny would bedazzle the logo and names on the jerseys if he could.
Sumrall thinks he’s Saban, Harbaugh, Dabo, etc…he thinks he’s some no-nonsense, disciplinarian, but he’s actually a lame ***, goofy little ****.

Anytime a coach shows up with Slogans, run far away. Slogans, weird gimmicks, smoke and mirrors. Most times there is no substance beneath. AL Golden, Butch Jones, Norvell, Manny Diaz. Not HC material. They think you can use magic words to find some hidden talent in players instead of just str8 work and grind, then action on the field.

This clown is going on a media tour, trying to woo the wrong people.
The people he has to impress are the studs that he can recruit either from high school, or through the transfer portal, and I guarantee you they’re not buying his media blitz bull****. So honestly, it’s just a waste of his ******* time. But I’m OK with it.
Way too much talking to the media. But I love it though. Just shows the guy is focused on the wrong things.
