These idiots don’t realize that teams only run those goofy offenses because they can’t get legit players. Georgia Tech isn’t getting elite talent, they need to maximize their talent with a bunch of QB run gimmicks. Your goal as a coach at the university of Florida shouldn’t be to become the new Georgia Tech. Unless the Gator is just giving up on being a contender and is just happy being a 7 or 8 win team that occasionally can play Georgia close.

You forget that they won two titles doing that **** in 06 and 08. Philo is the next Tebow in their minds.

Yeah and Miami won almost every game from 2000-2002 running the I formation. The game changes a lot over 20 years. Miami fans had to learn the hard way that just because something worked 20 years ago, doesn’t mean it will work today.

Not only that, it assures well will never have to worry about Florida competing with us to any quarterback or skill position recruits. Teams play that style because they have to, not because they want to.
