Edit: and this is a big reason why they have football issues too. Because they still don't have a permanent president since all of this, and so their AD Stricklin isn't going to get fired and no one will put the UAA and all its old cronies in check. That whole place needs to be gutted. They will be mediocre for a while.

Here's a lie. ANYONE could have pursued and/or hired Jon Sumrall at any point. If "there was going to be a line out the door for Jon Sumrall", then how come there WAS NOT, you know, a "line out the door for Jon Sumrall"? It never happened. I'm not saying that someone else would not have hired him eventually, but this MYTH that there was crushing interest in Jon Sumrall is just BULL****.

Holy ****, so that's the Atlanta plane that everyone was tracking that day! They had someone driving around trying to figure out who it was, and part of the whole "they were lied to" story is that plane was supposedly in Atlanta because Sexton's office is there and that was part of the whole MOU for Lane. And that was part of why it sounded so suspicious at that time, because why the **** would one of the UF planes FLY to Peachtree-Dekalb with an MOU for Jimmy to redline? That stuff just gets emailed.

Gotta love 'em, the delusional dumbasses.

I personally love the revisionist history and the way they’re trying to sell the higher. They continually say that they knew if he got in front of them that he’d win the job. However, the article says that both Kiffin and Drinkwitz turned the job down so they turned to him. So how exactly did he change their minds, and does they really expect anyone to believe that once they met him that he jumped the number one on the wish list.
