How many is he directly responsible for? Serious question, because I don’t really know that much about his recruiting and he was co-OC last year.Hartline go look at his recruits .
To be fair he’s only an OC in title only.Hartline go look at his recruits .
cartoon Network will e play ING what is now the “deliverance bowl”. They both enter the game squealing like pigs.
I’m just making a point . What has Franklin won in all these years ? New blood > washed io coach like Franklin or KellyTo be fair he’s only an OC in title only.
Franklin is Mark Richt….wins a lot of games and can give a program legitimacy if it has fallen off. Would be good for a school like Va Tech, uCLA or StanfordI’m just making a point . What has Franklin won in all these years ? New blood > washed io coach like Franklin or Kelly
No but it would be hilarious for the tears if we did and he thrived here.Realistic question? Do we make a run at Lagway in the off season? I’m not saying drop a big NIL bag but there’s some raw tools there. If he can get healthy lose some weight and get the **** away from the Gator offense, he might be salvageable
Riley is 7-2 this year at USC, tied for the third in the Big Ten.Where’s Lincoln Riley going? He hasn’t set the world on fire at USC
usc has been blowing nil money fast like rick ross in the 80s in la.Riley is 7-2 this year at USC, tied for the third in the Big Ten.
What he did managed to do was reinvent his philosophy. After Caleb Williams left he realized he just can’t win games 45-40 week in and a week out. He revamped his defensive staff and his recruiting philosophy. He knows he has to compete in the Big Ten and what he did in the Big 12 and his first years at USC with Caleb Williams is not going to work. Appears to be an excellent recruiter as USC has one of the top classes this year maybe ranked number one at this moment. Southern Cal could regain their status as an elite program if they could manage together their NIL program together.
Imagine if Mario decided his “A-Gap Raid” philosophy isn’t going work if Miami wants to return to elite status, and then replaced Dawson with an elite offensive coordinator and let him run the offense.
Too slightly different scenarios as Riley was not coaching defense, but he realized he had to have one and re-prioritized.
I guess the point is Riley did with his defense what we wish Mario would do with our offense.
There’s no reason for him to leave USC, and I think he has a huge buyout. He and LSU went back back-and-forth before he chose USC. So there’s history there. I think the financials make it unlikely.
A brand new fully guaranteed deal is better than a fully guaranteed deal 4 years in. It's also true that leaving due to being recruited out is better than staying a year and getting fired, which there is a pretty solid chance of.Riley is 7-2 this year at USC, tied for the third in the Big Ten.

I’m talking about now. I’m not a fan of USC and I don’t give a **** what they did. What are they doing now? That’s what counts. Riley has changed his philosophy, at least to the point of admitting he needed a defense. Swapped out the staff he brought with him from Oklahoma.usc has been blowing nil money fast like rick ross in the 80s in la.
their program was together ...lincoln riley just isnt that good. They spent millions on the defense since hes been there...your forgetting how they bought up nil money snatchers in bear alexander, and the kid Height who was a um commit that went to auburn, then ga tech, then usc, now texas tech lol, they bought up the de from new orleans.
having to win games 45-40 is laughable because your in the big 10. USC might have 2 incoming losses coming as well
Setting aside all the buyout and financial considerations, I would definitely consider the LSU job. I would consider it best available job at the moment, with the caveat all the things making a well run organization are in place. This clearly was not the case given the Brian Kelly disaster, but I would least entertain discussions to find out what their future plans were.A brand new fully guaranteed deal is better than a fully guaranteed deal 4 years in. It's also true that leaving due to being recruited out is better than staying a year and getting fired, which there is a pretty solid chance of.
If he thinks he's definitely making the playoff next year for USC, then staying is the correct decision. If he doesn't put it together next year though, he's done there. He can either bet on himself at USC, or start fresh with likely more money...
He also has the number one incoming recruiting class.Riley is 7-2 this year at USC, tied for the third in the Big Ten.

this entire post from GatorDMV804 reads like a McKinsey & Company word salad.

He was still in the Pac 12 for two years after he took the job. Good record with Caleb Williams winning the Heisman, but they were winning high scoring games in a weak conference. The program joined the Big Ten and Riley had to revamp his philosophy.
7-2 record. Blew a game at Illinois, and lost at Notre Dame. Not a great team, and fortunately, they don’t play Ohio State and Indiana. I’m not sure there are any great teams this year although Ohio State is clearly number one. They could lose to Iowa, although I think they’ll beat the Hawkeyes in Los Angeles. Likely lose at Oregon and should beat UCLA. 9-3 and on the outside looking in at the playoffs.
I also never said they weren’t spending on NIL. Spending unwisely is not the same as having your NIL program in order.
My point is Riley changed his approach at USC. He needed to change, even spoke about it.To summarize what was said previously, I would never knock the expenditure of NIL money to fix needs, I just want to clarify that Riley hasn't suddenly become a "better" defensive recruiter. And the reason that is important is because he would have to do all the same things you mentioned at Florida that he just did at USC.
Now, if he takes his whole staff....maybe....
****,@TouchMoney26 is running with the turds now...He might be the TouchMoney26 of the Gator boards...
