Hamstring -> Ankle/Calf -> Heisman

Is that right? **** I forgot he didn’t take single rep this spring and now seems like will miss the start of fall camp. They should be extremely concerned in Gainesville.

59% Completion 12 TDs and 9 INTs.

He needs the reps. DCs have a full season of film on him now you have to expect teams will be ready for him this year. I have thought it all summer but I really think they are in trouble this year.

All I’ve heard is gator fans talking about how not serious this injury is seems like a bunch of sunshine pumping even if he doesn’t miss any games kid didn’t practice in. Spring didn’t play that well last season very clearly needs reps

I’m not convinced Lagway has ever been healthy since he played injured last season. All these mystery injuries just lead me to believe it’s a chronic problem probably caused by Napier trying to save his career by rushing the kid through rehab. I guess time will tell.

Call me unethical. But if I’m Hetherman I’m scheming up more pressure and giving him pre-snap looks that encourage him to pull and run the ball. Anything to put him into positions where he may have to take himself out.

Forgot shoulder

Torn Calf muscle supposedly? Def different severity levels, but dudes morphing into Anthony Richardson 2.0

Now, I don’t know what he has or hasn’t. But I’ve had a torn calf muscle and first of all it hurt like **** when it happened, and I walked with a limp for a couple of weeks at least.

Could not run at all. Now, obviously I’m not a college level athlete nor was I one when this happened, but I tore the **** out of that muscle and I had trouble just walking around for work. Basically I was hopping around for a few weeks. What any of this has to do with him I don’t know, but I think a torn calf muscle is not anything to sneeze at.

Whatever helps us beat them by 50+... I want that outcome! Fvck if their whole starting 22 miss our game. FVCK EM!
I don’t wish injury on any of our opponents’ players. However, if a Gator or Nole sustains an injury and can’t play in our game, I’m certainly not going to lose any sleep over it. If it helps us,
I’d rather one of their better players not be available for our game.

I know this is Gator Tears board, but you think any FSU fans were upset when half our starters were out in the 2022 game? I bet they weren’t wishing our guys a speedy recovery and wanting us to be at full strength.

Right... I would never wish injury on any player...but if they're already hurt then they can come back AFTER we play them lol

Idgaf about that, just know how the media would down play Miami beating them without him.
dawg... That changes NOTHING!! smh. but whatever floats your boat man. It's enough of y'all fans on here that care more about what's being said than what's actually going to give us the best outcome to win. It's tiring man lol.

Yeah I hope Lagway plays to make you and the media happy.

No matter what the injury or severity, it’s not a good situation.

He is coming off a season where he missed time and was limited with a hamstring injury. Then missed spring ball because of a shoulder injury. Now, the week of camp starting, he has another new leg injury.there is no way that’s an easy injury to just recover from and go full speed. I recall Christian McCaffery had the calf injury and he missed half the year. Any lower body muscle injury can lead to over compensating and more serious injury elsewhere. Long winded way to say, not good cotton.

That’s a lot of injuries in less than a year

Wow. Here I am, just devastated to hear about DJ Lagway’s injury. I mean, what will the football world do without 47 overthrows and 3 picks per game? Truly a loss for the highlight reel community.

Take all the time you need to recover, DJ. Like, all the time. No rush whatsoever. In fact, maybe take the whole season—just to be safe. Wouldn’t want to risk another “heisman campaign” being tragically cut short.

Speedy recovery, champ. The SEC just won’t be the same without your… unique brand of quarterbacking.

He’s got about 5 weeks to heal up. Maybe they limit week 1 against Long Island (I can’t believe they are playing them) and then have USF coming to town. I can see UF just handing the ball off 45+ times against that competition to try and preserve him before LSU.

If he wasn’t throwing in spring and has a boot on now, highly doubt he’ll be 100% at any point during the season.

They’ll sit him week 1 and probably week 2 as well, though USF can hang around if Florida is completely one dimensional.

Week 3, he’s gotta start. And man, not playing any spring ball, being limited in fall, and starting your season against LSU prime time in Death Valley is a bad situation.

One thing that’s stuck with me is the multiple people saying, after SEC Media Days, that they’d been told that Lagway is struggling to throw the ball 30+ yards downfield. That doesn't indicate a minor injury or hiccup. He probably won’t be 100% at any point this year.
