That kid isnt a good bball player either. He is big and slow. I think they felt they had bigger Zach Edey instead his game is more Zach Edeydick. I'd take Tacko Fall 10x out of 10 over him.

Hey, Desmond Fatson...

They so are desperate for help on special teams they tried out Olivier Rioux (7’9” basketball player) but he only has an ELEVEN INCH VERTICAL so he was useless.

Imagine Castellanos trying to throw over a 7' 9" center. I mean **** even Justin Herbert would struggle to throw over him.

Apparently he has already lost 30 pounds since being with the bucs. And he still isn’t allowed to practice. The kid has a problem for sure. You see all these former linemen who retire and immediately they start eating like a civilized human and they drop weight.

Seriously!

I mean 2 weeks of a caloric deficit he drops 20lbs. 1 month he is down 50.

So he is either fat and lazy or has a major thyroid problem.
Either he has a severe leptin deficiency, or he's averaging 6400 daily calories.

Leptin deficiencies are extraordinarily rare.

He could lose 100 lbs in a snap with any serious calorie restriction.

Is that his basal metabolic rate number? I don't think that accounts for calories spent working out, which is a massive number given the amount of time these guys spend running, lifting, etc. I have a family member who struggled to keep his weight while playing D1 football. Played OL and coaches wanted him up around 300. He came to camp in year 3 weighing like 275 and the coaches were pízzed off. He wasn't trying to lose weight. His basal metabolic rate skyrocketed from a few years in their S&C program and he struggled to eat the 6000+ calories a day he needed to in order to just MAINTAIN his weight. He eventually got his weight up and was a three year starter, but he said it was a bí7ch to keep his weight up. Like it was a chore.

You're correct. I wasn't factoring in any calories burned.

He's probably eating 7500 plus. Daily.

Hey, I’ve been telling them too! I lived through the Muschamp era my grad years at UF and was one of the 200 people that lasted through the entire Georgia Southern game. I’ve paid my dues, dammit! 🤣

And it’s GAME CHANGER UNIT, not special teams. Get it right, bro.
