Tears Gator Tears

I think you meant NLI not NIL correct? Which I agree so that means Harlan told them yesterday Jaden has not "filed" for his release, but then would be speaking to UF today and in your scenario it would be about his release from his NLI but Ba-lake is saying this is all NIL related.

Yes, just corrected (that's why I try to use the LOI - Letter of Intent abbreviation instead of NLI, which can be confused with NIL)...

The best part is "the reason they missed out on everyone else" for Early Signing Day was because they "gave all the money to Rashada".

Now they don't have Rashada OR the other guys they were trying to sign at the last minute on Early Signing Day.

But, hey, at least they now have the money...that they don't really have...good lord, this is confusing...
I think they mean they gave all of their promises to Rashada and didn’t have any promises leftover for other recruits

All of these things are true.

Which is what makes the next 36 hours, and potential litigation, so dangerous.

If the Rashada family explains, under oath, what really happened...

Yeah but careful what you wish for. You know the very next question will be, "Have any other schools made similar offers similar to UF?" You don't think dad Rashada will be like "Yeah we originally agreed to UM's offer, but then UF came back with a better one"?

Nope. Not at all.

A "LifeWallet offer" and a "UM offer" are not the same thing. And we didn't have Mario and Dan sitting in the same room while the Rashadas negotiated with John Ruiz.

That's what people (particularly Gaytors) continue to overlook. Miami has been doing NIL the right way, the way it was intended.

Additionally, we did not hold his LOI release hostage. Granted, he didn't sign an LOI with Miami, but what Florida is doing is SIGNIFICANTLY problematic, particularly if Florida doesn't back down and it were to turn into a lawsuit.

Our NIL offers are legit. Lifewallet is a real company. I can guarantee you Ruiz is smart enough to not have his offers tied to "pay for play" in any way.

Also "pay for play" isn't a legal issue. It's an NCAA compliance issue.
