He won’t be fired with that talent coming in. Guys that want him fired see the now but don’t look into the plan and future. Those are the fans I tune out. If they followed the sport instead of just UM they will realize talent acquisition wins titles eventually.

The so called genius play callers never win anything unless the HC is a recruiting phenom. We are building to dominate not be one year wonders.

I don’t think we will be ready next season I expect a bit more growing pains. The following season we smack and then u see them coming together. I think we need a running qb though, defenses are to athletic to have a statue back there. U need to keep the DEs honest we need a scramble and who can throw it and be accurate with it.

The object is to win games, not recruiting titles. I get it that acquiring talent usually leads to winning games but there’s quite a few teams that have been recruiting at a top 10 level for a long time that have won nothing. You need to actually coach teams too. What good is signing recruits if you’re not actually winning games?

But I’ll leave it at that since this isn’t the thread for this topic. Let’s keep winning the off season and enjoying gator failure.

U win games with recruiting evals and closing it’s been done by butch…..saban…..osu…..lsu….Clemson….Georgia…..etc. it takes time……and fans that were calling for harbaughs head at Michigan were stupid asf. Now it’s lying off, they may not win but that OL gives them a chance if they can block talented south squads. Which is a different animal.

When we win down the road I’ll expect you to agree with me in the future on this topic

I remember you mentioned one of the big holes being offensive skill for you all. Seems like you’ve made strides there but def mentioned that DT and LB on D were huge holes and weren’t addressed well in HS recruiting.
