It's also adorable that the fan of the university that hasn't won its conference ever and hasn't won a national championship in two decades is trying to argue that UF is an afterthought. As proof of relevance, I would ask 5rangz to show one instance of national sports media asking “is Florida back?” Or debating “why college football is better when the university of Florida is good”. I mean, both of our football teams have been in a slump for the last decade. They have had worse seasons than us, we have just been steadily mediocre, not terrible followed by a good season. But nobody in America gives a crap about the gators stepping up on the national stage

Florida never fell into an abyss like Miami, hasn't gone over twenty years without a national championship or conference championship, and whether or not college football is better when Florida is good, unlike Miami, isn't debatable and doesn't require articles attempting to convince an audience because the answer is an unequivocal "yes".
