Georgetown, UCLA, and USC don't have a national reputation among college football as an elite annoying fan base. There's nothing stopping me from being like Joe from Miami, who never attended Da U but likes to loudly brag to no one who cares about its many accomplishments. But notice how, for example, ND fans, while annoying, aren't treated similarly by other fan bases. They If you guys weren't so insufferably dumb, you'd be able to be like ND or Georgetown or x private university.

I think the underlying answer in that ND example is that the majority of that fan base is white and Miami is a large mix of everything, hence all the Ebonics slang that always gets thrown around. Yes, I said it.
