The Steve Clarkson camp is prestigious and costly ($2,500). There's no way in **** that Rashada risked his participation in the camp and flew all that way for a 20 hour visit without getting an SEC duffel bag of cash for making an unofficial.
Here's a blurb on the camp:
The QB retreat is the most prestigious 2-day QB training camp in the world and is specifically designed to prepare the countries best young quarterbacks for high level play in high school and into D1 competition. It is open to 3rd to 12th grade and is attended by many of the
QB trendsetters. Many current and past NFL quarterbacks have honed their skills working with Steve Clarkson at the retreat and many past attendees are currently starting at high level D1 and even in the NFL because of the training and personal preparation gained in this 2-day camp. In recent years counselors including Deshaun Watson, Lamar Jackson, Wilton Speight, Brett Hundley have come to work with the young QB’s to show the secrets to achieving elite quarterback performance.
As seen in 60 Minutes CBS,
Sports Illustrated,
Men’s Journal,
ESPN the Magazine,
HBO,
the New Yorker and
the NFL Network, The
Steve Clarkson Quarterback Retreat is the most prestigious and elite event a quarterback can be a part of.
At the Steve Clarkson Quarterback Retreat, the nations top QB’s will partake in quarterback exhibitions while being trained, coached and mentored by Steve Clarkson and his team of elite caliber college quarterback counselors. In addition to the on field instruction, QB’s will learn how to behave as professionals both on and off the field. In the past the Steve Clarkson Retreat has been held in Santa Barbara and the historic Coronado, CA. This year it will be hosted in the sunny city of Los Angeles!
Quarterbacks grades 3rd-12th are accepted.
