I love these idiots takes…

They act so Righteous like they’re doing things honestly with integrity as opposed to everyone else… like it’s some badge of honor when in fact it’s the opposite.

This kind of stuff bubbling up like this, the bickering and conflict this early in Sling Blade’s tenure, portends a beautiful fall and subsequent signing season. I can see the turds losing about five games this year, and their recruiting falling off the cliff. They are going to go nuts and it’s going to be spectacular to watch.

💯. I think it should be seen as life or death for their bagmen on Rashada were I them. They have a weak QB room and Billy whiffed on that group they were after to close on signing day including Citizen and Perkins - I think they were 1 for 5. They have no offensive traction either at RB (not getting any of the top 3) or WR or TE from what I can tell.

It’s all inconsistent as usual over there. When they lose to us, either Ruiz overpaid or Mario promised a high school recruit the starting job. When they beat us, Billy dunked on Mario.
 
As is usual these idiots only believe posts/rumors that benefit their agenda…Citizen getting the promise of a starting job fits their agenda.Anything else will not be allowed to be entertained no matter if it’s fact or not ….cause it doesn’t fit their agenda..

Same goes for the NIL game,…they lose out on a recruit it’s because someone else overpaid not because they got outbid or God forbid any kid might not want to play for their almighty SEC SEC SEC program..

2293 pages in and the same delusions they had of themselves on page one are still the same delusions they have of their trash program 2293 pages later and I’m pretty sure when this thread crosses the 5000 page threshold they will still have the same delusional outlook and opinions of their almighty SEC SEC SEC program only then it will have been another 3-4 years added on to their not having won anything….

He was a business associate of my cousin’s back in the day and he was always super friendly and down to Earth whenever I met him. This was after his fighting career was over but he still looked like he could kick some ***.

I posted this screenshot on the board in the Rashada thread.

If we make the OV list that should send some shockwaves over there. Aside from their usual superiority complex, I’m assuming some substance - like our depth chart for one. There’s a Cane poster on that board saying we won’t pay over $1m+ per year for a guy to sit on the bench for 2 years.

So if we make the OV list - especially if they don’t - what does that say on multiple fronts to them concerning Billy vs Mario in recruiting and our NIL guys’ willingness to pay?

The core of this is so simple, and @RVACane has been on this for a while.

Nobody is picking the Gaytors because the offer is "close" or "competitive". If money is the key factor, and someone is going to waste 3-5 years in Hogtown, the Gaytor offer must EXCEED everyone else's offer.

Citizen knew that he could compete to be a starter at Miami, so he wanted to see if he could gat a GUARANTEE from the Gaytors. With an "equal or lesser" offer from the Gaytors, there's no way in **** Citizen was picking Florida.

Gaytor fans need to get used to this. They will get north Florida kids and Gaypier-Louisiana specials. But to land blue-chippers from outside a couple-hour radius around Hogtown, they are going to need to EXCEED all other offers, whether that's money or other promises.
