Technically that is wrong. The Sun Belt cancelled their championship game and made Louisiana and Coastal Carolina co-champions even though CC beat them earlier in the year(CC was 8-0 in the conference while UL was 7-1). Billy received a participation trophy for the effort.

Yea we know it’s common but there’s levels to it. I’m thinking this got out probably because maybe they carried on that convo like it was Mullen rather than a surface level “hey prospect A, hope to get you on campus soon” type of thing.

Of course, but Mullen handled it poorly. Poor enough to qualify for Section 8 and the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, previously unavailable to repitles.
