Actually he was dropped from IMG after he failed every single class his junior year at IMG. It was known he had no chance to qualify since last August and every school but Florida stopped recruiting him.

Their writers dont seem to buy it, so probably just another absurd fan theory. I mean UF doesnt need to take anyone to recruit Lakeland.

The truth is it's just poor evaluation and/or actually caring about recruiting rankings, especially when you have 6-7 kids not qualifying.

Hammond, Henderson, and Black in particular were 3 guys everyone else backed away from because of academics, even schools like Miss St.
