Holy ****eballs, I love RVA's snapshot posts.

In particular, I love the 2 Gaytor fans who are living in the past. The one guy who thinks the answer is to "oversign" (no longer allowed), and the other guy who mistakenly thinks that UF gets an Initial Counter back because a kid didn't qualify. Whoops, NCAA rule change! Somebody on the Gaytor board doesn't understand what the new reality is...

Here is all anyone needs to know about the Gaytor fans.

They will compare results from different years. They will compare one game to multiple games. They will use the transitive property indefinitely. Any result that is bad for you was a "blowout". Any result that is not good for them was a "fluke" or else they "pulled out a game they should have lost". They ignore their own bad losses to bad teams. They will assume that your entire lineup from the prior year is returning for the current year, while for them, every Gaytor player has improved significantly and they had a ton of "addition by subtraction". You will be told what an amazing coach Mullet is, in spite on his underwhelming results at MSU. They will cherry-pick a few good players from 10 years at MSU as proof of what a great developer of talent Mullet is. They know all the names of our flop recruits, and none of the names of our NFL players. They will act as if Mullet could not possibly win the SEC West, because Saban and schedule, while they think the SEC East is winnable, because Kirby and schedule.

They have never met a fact that they can't distort, minimize, or ignore. Gaytor Logicz only works in one direction, the direction that favors the outcome that they desire.

Gaytor fans are the worst.

Classic gayers...our class is totally decimated, but let's keep arguing about the rankings.

Every fanbase does this to some extent, but I've never seen a group so good at only looking at the metric that looks ok. So half the class will never play for your team, but that doesn't matter because on signing day the class looked good. And you know what? Even if that matters, it still doesn't because the average rating per recruit is still high. A class of 6 guys that average a rating of 93 is still a great class.

I seriously don't get it. I've never gave a **** too much about class rankings. Sure, finishing with a top 10 class of great. But it's nearly the same **** that happened with Golden - we took kids that were never going to make it in, and it inflated our rankings. UF finished with a top 10 class, and a good portion of their blue chip players from that class either couldn't qualify or transferred. Instead of focusing on that, they just want to make sure they keep their top 10 ranking. What's the ******* point?

Not sure if this had been discussed or not. But although McElwain wasn't the best coach, he did leave a solid roster for Dan Mullen. Mullen may be a better coach, but if you don't have the horses, you're screwed at this level. Does anyone else expect, like myself that Mullen simply capitalized last season given that he had a solid roster and that he'll be coming down to Earth soon?

The gator roster in 2020 is going to be trash. Mullen walked into a situation that had all the pieces in place to "win now". Similar to what Manny is walking into this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 7 games this year and next year win only 4.

We are going to have a 2-3 year window to be the dominant big 3 team and we have to take full advantage. FSU will not be down for long.

I’ve been telling ppl this look at the Oline and the upperclassmen they had last year. He didn’t walk into the problems that even taggart walked into. I could easily see them having a pretty down year and this past class will set them back in the future

Because they are having trouble coming to grips with their protracted irrelevancy and they see themselves slipping further and further behind. So they seek false solace in numbers that make them feel good.

We're not gonna bring politics into this thread. Those are all left leaning news outlets and your assertion is that anyone who lean left is delusional.

Let's just keep it to gator tears my friend.

I post what I want, we are talking college athletics here and I dont want to see any kid no matter who he plays for lose an opportunity for something he didnt do wrong.

Grades are one thing we can laugh at but not immigration. And I come from a family of immigrants, something I wont laugh at. I hope the kid gets his papers. How about that.
Here he goes again RVA and Indy. You just warned these fool about bringing up politics and gaytor love and he does it again. Ban these fool!

thread on 247 gator site called "247 research". this is pretty funny

I took a look at how 2020 player rankings have changed on 247 (not the composite) since committing to Florida, fsu, and Georgia (if there was less than a 5 spot change, in either direction, I marked it as "No change")
Obviously there's still a long way to go, and I'm sure there are some unaccounted for variables in play, but here are the results (which BTW were pretty similar to the results for Florida's class last year):
2020 Florida Commits
-----------------------------
Trevez Johnson – Dropped 104 spots since commitment
Gerald Mincey – Dropped 72 spots since commitment
Jonathan Odom – Dropped 93 spots since commitment
Jovens Janvier – Dropped 243 spots since commitment
Jeremiah Johnson – Dropped 36 spots since commitment
Fenley Graham – Dropped 36 spots since commitment
Richard Leonard – No change
Rashad Torrence – Dropped 206 spots since commitment
Lamar Goods – No change
Anthony Richardson – Dropped 74 spots since commitment
Avery Helm – Dropped 15 spots since commitment
Jaquavion Fraziars – Dropped 69 (nice) spots since commitment
Johnnie Brown – Dropped 49 spots since commitment
Derek Wingo – No change
Antwaun Powell – No change
Leonard Manuel – Dropped 63 spots since commitment
Gervon Dexter – Rose 42 spots since commitment
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* 1 of 17 commits have seen their rank increase since committing to Florida (5%)
* 12 of 17 commits have seen their rank drop since committing to Florida (71%)
* 4 commits (all of whom are very recent) have seen no change. (24%)
