Tears Gator Tears

This is not a direct attack to you, but once again, our DB rooms don't ever matchup, so why are we comparing them? I'll take our QB/WRs/OC vs their DBs/DC over their QB/WRs/OC vs our DBs/DC.
Oh, I agree. I guess the better comparison would be how Notre Dame’s DB room compares to Florida’s, but I did not think of that this morning. But that would give a bit more of an indication of the challenge of facing Florida’s defense versus South Florida.

There's a Fire Billy Rally scheduled...
(I may go and counter-demonstrate--"Four More Years!")

On translating strategy to wins (from his press conference): "...I think really in my opinion if we were able to get back in our rhythm offensively and generate points and yards, we could be tough to deal with..."

This is genius--generating more points could translate to more winning. If this information became public, it would transform the landscape of all competitive sports.

There are things you can question about Mario but (with a couple exceptions with injuries and talent deficiencies early) he always seems to have his guys up for the big name programs. TAMU, at UF, Notre Dame, and at Ohio State (when he was at Oregon). It's the random duds that have done him in.
I'd also add that young and bad team that went to TAMU and lost 17-9

I love enjoying gator drama.
But that defense is pretty good. They have a lot of speed in the secondary and are sound in coverage.
Their o-line is hot garbage.
I hope our team doesn’t act like this is gonna be a walk in the park. Uif and fspoo have several players with a lot of speed that can hurt you.

That team has poor discipline and no faith in their staff. They’re gonna be hype to come in here and try to pull an upset and get the ball rolling. But we go up by more than 10 points early and they will fold.

If we start slow and allow this to be a close game it can get very interesting.
Teams with their backs against the ropes can pull of some upsets if they see any hope.

But I just don’t see that team rallying into togetherness in 6 days.
Agree. If Billy pulled lagway after the third pick they had a chance to win against lsu.

Did anybody see the box score? Uif dominated that game and LSU is a school that many people said was a top 5 team in the country. They even gave lsu 7 points off an interception. Nuss is a pretty good qb and he couldn’t move the ball was only able to lead them to 13 offensive points at home. Let’s not count this team as an easy W. All Uif had to do was play decent offensively and this was a statement win for them.
This won’t be an easy game unless LSU is the biggest top 5 fraud in the country.

I actually do think LSU doesn’t deserve to be a top 5 team. Said it in the rankings thread yesterday. Their O hasn’t looked great so far, and they’ve played the following:

v. Clemson, won 17-10
v. LA Tech, won 23-7
v. UF, won 20-10

Let’s look at some of their stats too, shall we?

Overall:
- 6 TDs in 3 games
- 20 points per game (60 total)
- 347.5 yards per game (1037 total yards)

Passing:
- 705 total passing yards
- 6.6 yards per pass attempt
- 235 passing yards/game

Rushing:
- 332 total rushing yards
- 3.7 yards per rush attempt
- 110.7 rushing yards/game

LSU’s offense is currently sitting at #94, while their defense is #25.

Florida’s offense, comparatively, is #67, and their defense is 28. To my original point on a previous page, however, Florida’s defense has played the #86 and 94 offense (LIU was not even available in the rankings, so that’s all you need to know). LSU’s defense has played the #109, 104, and 67 offenses. (And yes, those are in order of schedule.)

[Btw, our offense is 22 and defense is 38.]

So no, I am not impressed with LSU, and yes, they are fraudulent until proven otherwise. Right now they remind me of our 2017 team. We have played much tougher competition and dominated in all facets of the game. Stop it.

I’ve been saying this … how good is LSU really? Their offense has been horrendous even vs La Tech
