My Bull Gator partner dropped by for a chat this morning. He said the scrimmage was blacked out. But, he was told that they again protected Lagway to the extent that he is now worried. He said they had no “major” injuries but with Billy “that means no one died.” He again refused my wager offer [I get the Canes in all games straight up-he gets the Gators in all games straight up]. He did point out that Pate had UF in the CFPO. He said that could be the kiss of death………Remember before spring he was talking NC and Heisman……🤣🤣🤣🤣🇰🇵🤣🤣🤣🤣

At this point how much of an advantage does he have on Trammell Jones. He has five career starts on Trammell Jones and missed the entire offseason, while Trammell actually practiced.

If this Gator team starts 2-2 and Lagway is taking hits behind his OL he's on "season ending surgery" watch the rest of the way. At the first indication the season is lost, Lagway's camp should tell him to shut it down and get the surgery he should have had this offseason. Rehab before the December portal window. There is nothing to be gained by delaying until the offseason - by playing for a HC that is getting fired in hopes of making the Dukes's Mayo Bowl.

I want Miami to be the team that makes DJ Lagway make a business decision. Someone tell me I'm insane.

Depending on the market for qbs and lagway’s body of work idk if I would want to him the nil Cam or Beck have gotten.

There are times where you rest your quarterback during the last pre season scrimmage. Usually it’s a veteran who knows the offense inside and out and you’re trying to get a really good look at your backups who will likely be competing for the starting job the next off season.

None of that is applicable to the gator. Lagway is a sophomore who needs a ton of practice reps and missed most of spring with an injury. Their backups aren’t going to competing for any starting job next year unless they transfer to an FCS school. There’s no pressing need to give any of them a ton of first team reps.

DJ is still very much injured.

It’s the only explanation that makes any sense for him not getting reps in their scrimmage. Keeping in mind that quarterbacks are not to be touched anyway in those practice games.

Apparently yesterday he did some 11 on 11 but Billy was vague on what that meant.

Honestly he’s more injured or at risk of injury than they’re letting on. Only explanation.
