What the fool is a game changer coordinator?

The stupid hurts my eyes

I'm sure that @flagator86 can correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't name a single "game" that was "changed" by a significant Gator KO return or punt return during the Slingblade Billy Era.

2024:
The Gator goes 8-5, no wins by less than a 7-point margin

2023:
The Gator goes 5-7, one win by less than a 7-point margin (2-point win over South Carolina)

2022:
The Gator goes 6-7, two wins by less than a 7-point margin (3-point victories over Utah and USF)

2023 South Carolina 2-point victory - not sure whether to give credit to Trey Smack's multiple FGs or South Carolina's missed 2-point conversion with 9 minutes left in the game.

2022 Utah 3-point victory - The Gator made no FGs and one 2-point conversion. Other than that, all PATs.

2022 USF 3-point victory - Adam Mihalek made one 31-yard FG early in the first quarter. Other than that, all PATs.

So for three years, we have maybe ONE game in which Florida special teams "changed the game"? Because Trey Smack did his job against South Carolina?

Wow. What a "Game Changer" Coordinator...

You’re right but his incompetence as a coordinator basically cost us the Arkansas game.

They had a chance to win it at the end of regulation, but Trey Smackmissed a 44-yard field goal wide right.

It was the latest issue for Florida's special teams. The Gators botched an extra point in the third quarter and forced Smack's attempt to be 5 yards longer than expected because of an illegal substitution penalty.
Florida's kicking team ran onto the field even though the offense was scrambling to line up to spike the ball with seconds left.

“There's no question there was confusion there,” Napier said. “That one I haven't been around before."
