Our defense will show up. Only thing I'm shook about is a slow offensive start. Cam and pieces have to be ready to slang **** first play of the drive. We are better than them--easily. Just got to get out our own **** way and put them ****boi's in a mating press early.
I agree. I hope we run and dominate the LOS for the first few plays. Consistent body blows will kill the crowd. It also doesn't look like rain so talent will likely prevail over ***** ups

Game Week! Florida preparing!

The delusion coming out of Gainesville is sad. They’re in full propaganda mode knowing good and well after Saturday they won’t be able to sell those “$1 for 3 month” deals anymore.

It’s the “store is closing, 75% off” sign on the front door.

These MFers are cooked.

UF has better safeties & TEs (due to health issues and lack of production in 23) that’s IT.

Miami clearly has the better QB, better RB, better backup RB, better OL, better WRs, better DL, better LBs. CB is a push if you want to go off experience.

Miami has FIVE players on both ESPN top 100 & CBS top 100… UF has ZERO. These boys getting played like Noles for subs.

Curious who their opponents have been over that time. Last year was UTenn, but their QB was overhyped and had proven nothing to that point.
2023 - Mcneese
2022 - UTAH
2021 - FAU
2020 - s carolina
2019 - UT - Martin (UM game was "neutral" field.)
2018 - charleston southern
2017 - Tenn (opener was neutral field and they lost to mich)
2016 - u mass
2015 - new mexico state
2014 - eastern mi
2013 - toledo
2012 - bowling green
2011 - fau
2010 - miami(oh)

2003 - san jose st

that's as far back as I can take you.

Fun fact UF hasn’t lost a season home opener in 33 years

Fun fact, these are the teams that UF has beaten in those home openers:

McNeese St
Utah (the ONE team ranked when they played AND ranked at the end of the season)
FAU (twice)
South Carolina (2-8 during COVID)
UT-Martin
Charleston Southern (twice)
Tennessee (ranked when they played, Tennessee finished 4-8)
UMass
New Mexico St (twice)
Eastern Michigan (twice)
Toledo
Bowling Green
Miami OF OHIO
Hawaii
Western Kentucky
Southern Miss (twice)
Wyoming
San Jose St (twice)
Alabama-Birmingham
Marshall
Ball St
Western Michigan
The Citadel
Southwestern Louisiana
Houston (finished 2-9)
Arkansas St
Kentucky (finished 4-7)
Oklahoma St (finished 4-7)

I see a lot of compass directions in that list...

2019 was not a home opener against Miami, it was against UT-Martin. The UM-UF game was neutral site, in Orlando.

Looks like a bunch of scrubs outside of Utah and South Carolina in the past few years. I think I saw Huston or Kentucky in the once or twice int he 90s.

Yikessss. Take no stock whatsoever in that 33 year streak.

5-4 in the 9 home games under Billy that excludes Vandy, G5, and FCS is more realistic.

I'm leaning closer and closer to an L at UF is completely unacceptable because home field really doesn't mean much it seems.
