Well, knowing that urban and the university have bad blood, lanning and elko already have better jobs, and that kiffin isn’t making a lateral move, who are their realistic options?

It’s not a great job. It’s an SEC brand that comes with awful fans and pressure. An up and comer with choices would be foolish to take it right now.

You already have to compete with Georgia, bama, lsu, atm, and then you add Texas and Oklahoma into the mix. They will be mired in mediocrity for awhile.

That built in sec excuse. We play a tough schedule. How is that anyone else’s problem? See when an sec team loses it’s ok cause it’s the “sec”. He using the Tennessee excuse lmao yo he’s cooked.

Now that some programs are taking sh serious now things are balancing out so that excuse ain’t going to work. The sec is weak with two top teams.

3. Maybe, but I'd lean "not too likely." I think Elko leaves for A&M because they can break the bank if they want him (and he has ties). Duke can up his pay and make going to UF a real decision;

Vandy keeps their winning streak against FU alive this weekend.

I’m torn on this. As much as I’d enjoy bathing in their tears of misery, if they lose against Vandy (whose awful) they aren’t winning another game this year. That might **** them off enough to fire Billy. I hate it every time they win a game but a silver lining of them winning 2 more this year might be to buy Billy another year.

2024 is going to be a disaster for them no matter what so he’s a dead man walking either way.

But let's not forget, if they fire Billy, they WILL try to hire a Power Five head coach. And those guys have BUYOUTS. So the amount that Florida spends will be unbelievably high, on both ends.

UF could spend over 50 million in buyouts and then put another 50 million into a salary, all to lose 4-7 games a year.
