I get not wanting to read a bunch of threads about uf sht. What I don't get is the problem with this thread. All it's been in here is making fun of another team. Does that mean we're giving them too much attention? Maybe, but it's the offseason and there isn't much else to do but guess at Perry's weight today. Also, football is fun when you love team, but it's even more fun when you hate another team. Human nature I guess, but positivity only takes you so far before you need mean-spiritedness to enjoy yourself.

Speaking for myself, I'm just enjoying bad things happening to the gayters. If that's beneath you or you just find it annoying, I can understand that. Maybe it's time to move along.

Seems like UF is really taking a lot of kids with known legal and behavioral issues the last couple of cycles just for the sake of rankings. Strikes me as desperation. This usually doesn't end well.

It's absolutely desperation. They aren't getting the top kids who don't have baggage, so they are taking the guys with baggage in hopes of staying afloat. It's not just about rankings. they are desperate for the talent. Robinson is the best offensive player they signed last class. Corral is going to be the best player they sign period in this class. They have no choice but to go high risk/high reward right now.

There are many pillars that help create this program and smack talk (swagger) is one of them. To put things in perspective, the Rock, in his Ballers show, still talks smack about the Seminoles. Does that mean he wants to be a Nole?

Tweed is a great guy who is very much a Cane fan, and has attended an incredible number of games (though very few have been against UF). However, he is not as old as some of us who can remember the days when we had an annual game against UF. ****, one of the first trash-talking T-shirts I ever bought at UM was the "Gator Hater" shirt.

Tweed is very different from a guy like brock, who may root for the Canes, but is just some kid living in Georgia. Brock then turns around and criticizes UM fans who have different opinions, yet he has no context for why many of us like to enjoy the Gaytors' failures.

It has been stated before, if this thread is not something that appeals to you, don't re-open it and don't post in it.

Most Gaytor fans are delusional racist hypocrites who need to be exposed. This thread is doing so, and most of us are enjoying it.
