Completely true.

Their obsession can only stem from two things.

One is that (before Signing Day) the over-inflation of their recruiting class rankings will help them to trick other (legitimately?) highly-rated recruits to choose the Gaytors.

The other is that (after Signing Day) the over-inflation of their recruiting class rankings will help them to believe in the myths of "Gaytor brand", "next year", "results on the field", "best S&C, QB, DB, DL, WR, TE, and/or on-field coaches in the country", and "closing the gap on the house of cards".

What's funnier is they are just ignoring the built in advantage they too have in the NIL being approved in Florida a year early. We didn't have to find a way to up the ante, the state legislature did it for us.
