Game #3 - Bethune Cookman Captains

Both had ups and downs. Mauigoa played stout on many snaps. Flagg had a great TFL through two defenders. But I saw busted plays too. Flagg in coverage is still a liability. In the box he played his best game yet. But Kiko, while growing as an LB still, is the better player.
Kiko had a bad game. It happens. No big deal. Would never compare the two. Different leagues.

Tickets are literally $1 online so I hope some people actually show up to this game. UM should be giving out fkn 35,000 tickets to the community and Dade/Broward Public schools.

Assuming Bethune-Cookman is bringing its band. A lot of folks who aren't necessarily football fans would enjoy seeing them march and listening to them play.

Gotta admit this is the one and only school Miami plays where I'm good with the other team doing well. Canes obviously got this game, but I'd like to see the Wildcats play some good football.

Goes back to when I met some alums as a little kid in Daytona. Some of the best people I've ever known in my life. Took me under their wing just because. Never will forget them.

They were all about Bethune-Cookman. Win or lose, did not matter. Like the saying goes, HBCU love just different. iykyk

Going up against talented teams, there's going to be a position group or particular player that gets strained by both schemes. I believe Panchito got the brunt of that.

Yes I've noticed no threads about attendance or any admonishments about how fans need to support the team and not be cheap, no excuses not to show up, yadda yadda. Back to 25k in the stands now because I guess it doesn't matter anymore.

Don't know what the liability side would be.. but if doable, missed opportunity for a cool community event. Could even celebrate heritage or HBCU's.. Make Friday a holiday on school calendar..

Sounds nice in theory. Lol. Logistical nightmare.

Couch’s INT could be easily dismissed as an “end of game desperation throw”. However, it was one of the most impressive turn and track pick’s we’ve seen in a long time, from a guy most people left for dead, at a time in the game that it shouldn’t have mattered.

I’ve watched it probably five times, nobody told Te’Cory the game was over. He was playing for minutes in the future.
The turnaround in the scores is one thing but the most astonishing thing I’ve noticed so far is the effort

Can’t remember which player it was recently that said last year the coaches had more energy/effort than the players. Which that definitely can work both ways if the players don’t respect the coaches, they won’t put in the effort

Having weekly flashbacks of Lance mentioning WRs with lazy breaks leading to INTs. DBs with **** poor technique and effort etc

Every single play of these two games, even when we were blowing out Ohio, you can feel the intensity of the team. I’ve said it a few times but even when we give up plays, TDs, the yards are tough to come by for the most part

I knew we could improve here but I definitely did not expect such a night and day difference this quickly

Honestly that pick was very clutch.

If aggies score on that possession its literally a one possession game. Now you're depending on recovering the onside kick and defending a hail Mary.

While very unlikely, we can't pretend it hasn't happened before in football. So I'm really glad he closed that game out and we avoided that scenario from possibly unfolding.

The gm felt over bc of the Kam injury, but it wasn't yet.
