Underwood and bachmeier anre the only true freshman starters in the top 25. Carr is a RS FR and so is sayin, basically.
The Pitt qbs is also a freshman too, right? The guy from Maryland? I feel like there are around 10 freshman/rs freshman qbs that play each year. That number jumps when you consider true sophomores.
I’m not saying we don’t need a transfer portal qb this year. But if Nickel or Dereon don’t play by opening day 2027, are they busts? Or does our qb development need more work? Who are Dawson’s qbs that he has identified and developed? Just interested.

Yeah they are - I was focused on T25, though. There certainly is an arguement to sign a good QB out of HS but evals have to be spot on for the kid to be a starter his 2nd year. Best case is that you have a really good QB starting for you for 2 years.

We were so spoiled with Cam lmao. Bailey wouldn't be a Heisman but I think he could be a top 15 QB in the nation with our O line and weapons, time will tell.

If we're considering Sellers, why not Byrum Brown? He's a better passer and a more explosive runner than Sellers, IMO.
