Kevin Jennings - 65.6%, 6,608 yds (8.2 Ypa), 49 TDs, 21 INTs, 404 rush, 9 tds

Josh Hoover - 64.8%, 6,155 yds (8.0 ypa), 42 TDs, 20 INTs
Sorsby - 61.3%, 4,400 yds (7.0 ypa), 33 TDs, 12 INTs, 723 rush, 13 TDs
Katin Houser - 64%, 5,306 yds (8.1 ypa), 37 tds, 17 ints, 351 rush, 13 Tds

Again Bailey is FINE as a fall back option IF CHEAP. Otherwise what the **** is the point of targeting him at the top? Makes ZERO sense to do that lol. Him not coming at a signficant discount to others in the portal would be a joke tbh. He can stay at NCSt and have Jojo join him if that's the case.

If we created an extremely simple composite score just using Qb passing grade of relevant players ONLY when They are throwing WITHOUT a Blitz and WITHOUT Play Action (so more like how good were you throwing when the Defense was purely trying to stop you with coverage)

Interesting how on the Left we see like All the top draft picks from last year near the top of the rankings. Then for this upcoming draft there is basically nobody who grades well unless Dante Moore declares... Very interesting... Literally all I did was break down those grades into tiers and assign them value based on which tier they were in and got an average tier score, so I didn't do anything special here. HOWEVER since I wasn't using any data from 2023 (to add to the 2024 class), clearly its elevating guys a bit more with only 1 yr of starting data who produced elite play. Cause obviously it's far harder to have 2 yrs of Top Tier play than just 1...

So if we only looked at guys who are eligible to return to college who have more than 1 yr starting exp it'd go:
Mensah > Jennings > Houser > Maiava > Sorsby > Arch > Hoover > McCown > Fifita > Byrum Brown > Becht > Leavitt > Bailey > Iamaleava ... And way at the bottom you got Sellers, Raiola, Demond Williams, Weigman, Lagway, Chiles...

It is interesting cause I have mentioned Houser multiple times previously. But he's a super under the radar guy. Probably not safe enough for us to target, but he seems like a sneaky good Portal pickup for someone. But like I said It seems to me it's Mensah and Sorsby at the top of the Portal list to me. If you could get Jennings, JKS, or Mestemaker they're at the top too. But TO ME all signs point to Sorsby as being the clear top portal QB @DMoney

You think we’re prepping to spend to get Sorsby/Mensah/Leavitt or are we just going for Bailey for cheaper…

3 of our portal targets. Probably like 3 of the 5-6 best overall options possible? Only Simpson, JKS, Mestemaker probably in that convo?

Just shows in a worst case scenario, if you’ve got the budget, going for the top portal QBs is always the correct call. If a hs qb develops they better prove it in practice…
