Let me guess you’re not watching him shred SMU but you’ll run some stats off the box score and make up your opinion…
Congrats on whatever you think you are entitled to flowers on.

PS: You are on my ignore list so congrats on that ****

Leavitt (if healthy) is the best option. If he’s out for the spring, we need to pass. Can’t do that again.

Mestamaker is intriguing but curious to see if he just hitches to Morris and goes to Oklahoma State.

JKS and Hoover aren’t coming here.

No to Nico and Angeli.

I’d take Bailey, Becht, and Sorsby. All have good arms, good legs, and some level of the “it” factor. Bailey would have been the obvious answer until he played us.

Sellers is one that I would have loved a few months back but it’s going sour. I’m not sure we’re equipped to give him what he needs in a system. Too complex for him. He should go somewhere like Tennessee in the system that has 1 read and be like Hendon Hooker.
Good post. However I don't think that Mestemaker is the lock to Oklahoma State that most think he is. Does he want to go through a rebuild or does he want to play for a contender? I just don't see JKS coming here. I was banging the Brendan Sorsby drum as a legit option before we managed to land Cam Ward then again last year. Sorby could be very good in this offense but at this point I would probably prefer Sam Leavitt if he is healthy enough for spring. CJ Bailey is an intriguing option and believe it or not I'm not going to hold his performance in our game vs NC State against him.

NCSU used a true frosh QB on goal line and short yardage situations this year and he is highly regarded. It wouldn't surprise me if NCSU doesn't fight too much to keep Bailey.

Back up the Brinks truck for JKS. Like I said pages ago. Clowns pulled up random stats, eye charts, outlandish comparisons, etc. Hahaha smfh

And then soft ask Miami fans block you for pointing out their stat crunching to down this kid is weird. LOL literally block you... Im sure no other person on this site has me blocked but this flammer...

Kid looks like a legit Sunday QB. His receivers have drops every game.

If Miami doesn't go hard after this kid I could see Oregon going after him.

Back the truck up...

Unless you have a no brainer (which I’m not seeing) I think you spend on surrounding talent and have a qb battle.

Unpopular opinion: Emory has looked good in spots this year. Has been in the system 3 or 4 years. Perhaps you take a shot on a lesser known QB in the portal and let them battle it out.

The downside of bringing in a big name guy that’s not a sure thing (Sellers, Bailey), you’re stuck with him starting all year. Like if Beck would have turned into TVD , would they have benched him? Probably not.

Find a talented back up somewhere and let them battle it out. Build the line up and get a top notch WR. Get the young TEs ready to play. And if Coleman beats them all out, roll with it.

He already choose Cal over Oregon. He's getting a huge NIL at Cal. Why would be leave now?

this is just a stupid fun thought that we obviously won't (and shouldn't) consider but my god mali toney would put up absolutely stupid numbers as an option QB lol. imagine if he came out as a QB and went to some G5 school or something, he'd be tearing those poor kids apart

thoughts on Raiola?
Recovering from a recently broken leg. He may still have a ceiling he hasn't reached yet. Very good deep thrower.

OTOH, the word "inconsistent" would apply. Especially against the better competition. Takes too long to throw and too many sacks. Mid-tier Big Ten QB at this point.

You should be banned from this board for ever suggesting Emery should start a game here in any capacity ever! Some fans like you I’ll never understand, it’s like you don’t want to win. Emery is a group of five quarterback at Best and that’s a fact and he will never start here.
