Gabby's list of transfer qbs

Honestly haven’t watched much Iowa State, especially this year. I thought he was… okay? in the games I watched last year but I don’t have a strong opinion on him tbh
He's a good tough ball player but has some inexplicable accuracy games where he will go like 8/30. In a lot of those games he ends up running a lot and usually guts out a last minute score. I wouldn't consider him as the person to get us over the hump per se.

You're really comparing a 5th year SR (who played at loaded UGA) to a true FR at Cal? Smfh JKS would do well at UM, and I don't care what stats you want to throw out there.
**** off buddy.

Kid has impressive tools and had a hot start but he's not even in the top 100 in QBR .... but I guess your "eyes" know better.

Haven’t seen anyone mention Avery Johnson out of K State. Around the same stats as Leavitt. He’d be dangerous in the RPO and +1 running game behind our OLine with someone like Fletcher leading the way
He's been on the radar for awhile but did not jump into the Portal last season. He is a clear running threat. Solid passer.

Born in Wichita and playing at K-State.

Leavitt, Sorsby and throw in Becht.

If we can get one of these guys day 1 of the portal, let’s ride and use that QB and Malachi to help recruit whatever else we need on offense (oline, WR2 (WR1 elsewhere), superstar TE if available.

Last thing I want is for us to go weeks without a QB.

Feel like our portal QB shouldn't be a guy who come the 4th quarter of a close game when we really need a completion our Coaches decide, correctly, the best guy to throw that pass is Malachi Toney and not the portal QB.

Whoever it is needs to excel in a clean pocket and can use the extra time along with being able to get the ball to Toney and Pringle. That's what Miami needs. I would absolutely take a QB that can use his legs but the other things are a priority.

Tax him?

Dude hasn’t slowed down a bit. If anything, he’s ramping it up. No freshman wall for Malachi that I’ve seen…

Between his talent and will to win, he’d win a ship here if not two… I fully believe it.

But…yea.. back to hoping Nickel or a transfer is the answer.

As for me, I’d rather give Mali the keys and go spend on a wr or two - if needed.
Yeah Tax him!!! He’s taking too many hits w runs up middle and jet sweeps
It’s not if it’s win he gets an ac joint or worse the way they are playing him

They are playing him like deebo samuel
And Deebo gets hurt all the time
And Toney isn’t built like deebo

It’s DUMB

This guy took a game they ran for 450 against Utah and blew the game cause he isn’t good

My Portal QB list would probably be:
1. Riaola
2. JKS
3. Mestemaker
4. Some order of Leavitt/Sorsby/Becht/Mensah /Demond Williams
5. malik Washington / CJ Bailey / Hoover / Byrum Brown /Lanorris Sellers

Qb2 options: Austin Simmons / Houser / Braden Atkinson / Colton Joseph / Ryder Burton / Bryce Schondelmyer

I think Mestemaker just follows Morris and JKS stays at Cal especially if Cal hires Tosh. I think Miami may try to swing on Riaola and Leavitt first but if they don't hop on ASAP I think we just get Sorsby
I tend to lean that way as well
Although my preference is still leavitt
He’s WON big time games
He’s not afraid of it; he leans into it and has some ***** type A in him that his team believes in
If the injury can be repaired timely it would help
I’m no doctor - that is my
Biggest
Concern

Is there any D2 guys like Chambliss available
This is where the Miami organization needs to do their homework
Ideally we do get a guy that can be here multiple years!!!
