his radio show is good. he's different and doesn't do the normal sports radio BS. he likes to mock all of it. his takes usually get you to look more in-depth than what you see in front of you.

it got moved to ESPN from ESPN 2 and the network loves Lebby so doubt its getting pulled anytime soon. they spent a ton of money in making an ESPN studios at the clevelander just for his show (the rest of 790 is in some crappy bldg in miramar). side note: his dad is hilarious imo.

Maybe it got a lot better in the last 5 years because that's how long it's been since I heard it. But I found it unlistenable. Guys trying too hard to be funny, but I never heard anything funny from them.

He used to go to movies with the UM players and they were allowed in at no charge. Later when it was to his advantage, he turned them in for extra benefits. The guy is a complete snake. I have no respect for him at all and his show is horrific.

So as a fellow student and beat writer, he was privy to alot of the stuff that went on with the football program,
alot of stuff that can and does occur at most programs, but has no business being aired.
Nonetheless, that didn't stop LeBatard from feeding the local media, especially his employer, the Miami Herald with
alot of stuff that led to exposes on the UM program.
And he went on and on besmirching his alma-mater, climbing over their collective backs, so he can further his career.
He only cooled his jets when he himself was arrested in the Grove for being drunk and disorderly and lying to
the cops by giving them a bogus name (many thanks to the Miami News for covering this incident).
He really isn't much different than Nevin Shapiro.
He is a snitch.

I tell you what, I would rather listen to the college football show on Sirius/XM that has all of those rednecks calling in everyday from across
the country than listen to his tired retread schtick where he acts too cool to actually delve into sports.
That act is not original, btw.
Tony Kornheiser does (or did) the same schtick on radio, and that is also lame and just confirms that he is a lazy sports journalist.

And as far as his humor, it is also lame and tired....a bad attempt at trying to sound like Howard Stern.
