FSU's Double Pass?

It was illegal by a few inches, the play wasn’t executed correctly but it 100% caught us off guard.
It did catch Bandy off guard, how the **** hes suppose to know from where he standing that its illegal lol @ Krazy......that boy wylin. Lucky for us they didnt execute it properly if not they would of scored. They were setting that play up all game.

What’s ur point though?? Who do you want to bxtch about and point the finger at.... we have the best defense in the country... teams get hit with trick plays all the time. It’s a trick play and they failed to execute it properly, illegal forward pass the end.

Im not complaining we got away with it and they fuqed up, im just saying it would of worked if they executed it properly but they didnt so thats on them.

I mean the play absolutely killed us. We should have been expecting it at some point if it’s on tape multiple times.

That's what you don't hear from all the rah rah we just got a huge win crowd...that was a VERY close call that would have likely made this game a huge L. We had some bad ones against us...but like last year, it sadly took some divine intervention....surprisingly it was in the form of an ACC official.

UM

the first replay they showed it looked clearly forward. then the more they kept adding a 5 inch wide yellow line and stuff the closer it looked to lateral. The announcers saw it right away though during the broadcast, before the replays, so if they questioned it's legitimacy live action....

It was a forward pass. No question. Quit feeding into this horse ****. The refs blew 3 or 4 huge calls in THEIR favor, and, on top of that, if they scored on that illegal forward pass, we still would have marched down and won.

They took Wiggins' TD away. Didn't even review it. They took Homer's catch away. They blew the fumble call on French. Looks like Matthews stepped out on the punt return. List goes on.
Did not call horse collar on DJ

I guarantee you, every FSU fan thought, “crap, was that forward?” the moment it happened. Only because they lost do they act like they knew it was backwards.

To me it was clearly forward francois threw it at the 35 DJ Matthews caught it at the 34.5 which is forward. It was more forward than it was backwards in fact it wasn’t backwards at all because it was forward lol.

The one thing I can say for sure is that in those types of plays you have to leave no question about it. You need to design it so it’s clear that it was a backwards pass and obviously it wasn’t clear.

Yep. If you run that play right there is no doubt. They ran it wrong, simple as that.

Well you'll be glad to know that WiLLLie has sent for "clarification" from the ACC offices on what they did wrong.

You blew a 20pt. lead and barely had 200yds of offense is what you did wrong. He's obviously feeling the heat.

Fax don’t know why they’re complaining... oh it’s bc they lost a 20 point lead and they have the black al golden
I kind of feel bad for Taggart. FSU is a mess, and their fans are even messier.

First, it’s not “clearly” a forward pass. What it clearly is is a perfect lateral pass. The problem is the misunderstanding on their part. They think “not forward” is ok, whereas the rules say “not backward” is not ok.

You’re right that they have nothing to come lain about here.

The rule book only states forward and backwards passes. Anything that is not backwards is considered a forward pass.

He can send it to the Pope too....won't change the outcome.

Yes, I've seen this sort of pass be called as incomplete before, when not caught obviously. The pass has to go clearly backwards.

The problem with that type of play is that if the initial pass is obviously thrown backwards, you see the WR pass coming a mile away.
