no doubt, just not sure of FSU QB & receivers and GA. Tech will not be an easy out for anybody......... FWIW kinda of Jonesing to bet football as well......

Norvell wasn't too magical in this one against a UL squad that was suspect on D.

I expect the play of DJU to dramatically influence how we perceive Norvell as a play caller this season.
 
Norvell has had the Noles ready for much tougher openers. It might seem close for a minute, but FSU will be in control for most of the game. BJ Ukulele does suck though.
 
I don’t have stats to back this up but felt like watching FSU a few times last year their scripted play drives after the half and the beginning of games were incredibly successful

Be curious to see if that holds up with having a significantly weaker QB and WR core (imo)

My point is how much better is DJ compared to said 3rd stringer cause he didn't exactly separate himself from the pack according to the camp reports.

Add in that there should be a significant drop in the talent of his supporting cast as well.

It's Roydell or bust for the Noles this season. If he isn't the goods the offense will be underwhelming.

Weaker QB? I would say the GT QB is at least as good if not better than the FSU QB.

Norvell is a fantastic play caller. He has a great feel for the game and I view that as one of the most important traits of a great playcaller

FSU was down at the half in 6 games they played last year. They were winning by three points in 2 other games. That's not including the 13-0 they were down to North Alabama after the 1st quarter. They came out flat in 9 games. I have been beating the, "FSU could have easily gone 8-4 last year", drum for a long time.
