There were some dark days, but don’t exaggerate. We were and many times still are the bad guys of college football. The media always blows it out of proportion. Just like with the Shapiro mess again. That turned out to be boats and hoes. A slow weekend here. Miami will always be relevant because there are too many athletes here willing to stay home to keep us in the conversation. As bad as Al Golden was and how hard he tried to drive this program into the ground, it took him 4.5 years and a school president so desperate for him to remake us into he image of Penn State before Sandusky that she willfully ignored everything about how atrocious Golden was.
Always going to be relevant? Then please explain the 14 years before Coach Richt arrived where Canes football had become a punchline in college circles. ****, even Duke no longer feared us!
Miami once again became relevant the very instant Mark Richt accepted the job to be Miami's Head Football Coach. Last season even saw ESPN touting the Canes, which in comparison, would be the Democrats heaping praise on President Trump!
