Frierson transferring rumor

I’d love to be a fly on the wall when the new HC walks in and looks at the LB room lol. He’ll be like “ this is Miami right“? An assistant will quickly respond “ no, it’s the new Miami“.
Then the New coach says, “The New Miami, huh?! ****… What was wrong with the old Miami? I like the way them dudes played. The New Miami… is why I’m your new football coach.”

Reports were that he showed up in spring overweight and sluggish so I mean when you don’t take it serious now when will he? I think he’s a good player and flashed a ton last year but regressed as all Manny defenders do.
So was he benched because he looked overweight or was Carter outplaying him? I think it’s cause he looked out of shape and Carter is a gym rat

good luck in his future endeavors...but I won’t miss watching him get outran to the sideline , first down , end zone , every **** where . Then losing his mind for making a simple tackle ...enough already

Gil came in full camp looking like a walrus; buddy must’ve been wilin’ on that training table.

So I guess Gil is going to be walking out with the rest of the seniors as a redshirt sophomore on Sr day?? Kinda odd. Guess maybe he's gna grad transfer for his last 2 seasons

looks like we may need guys to play both ways next year.
Well, to everyone who was so excited to have a coaching change, this is the potential cost. Yes, you might wind up with Lane or Mario or even Meyer, but you could lose A. William, J. Williams, Knighton, TVD, Garcia, the freshmen wide receivers, and Taylor in the leadup to the signing.

Lmao I remember there was an article preseason about him being the "quintessential hybrid player" wtf happened between then and now? Carter bum *** been stinking up the place
…the striker position as a whole stinks up the place. None of them are any good.

Most players, except the elite of the elite or the ones with a work ethic second to none seem to regress the year after they have a really good year. It’s hard to work as hard once “you’ve made it” than when you were trying to make it. Normally takes a year of not being the same guy to realize you have to work twice as hard to stay great.

Least that’s my take. I bet it’s happened to more than a few people on this board personally. It’s just the way it works and it’s part of maturing.

Gil seems to fit this mold with how he came into camp. But think about it, why would Gil leave? What’s to gain?
