Staff gotta get their $hi+ together.... no way Gil should be thinking about leaving this close to the season "if" he's starting or expected to get heavy PT. You have to tell him it's a "ongoing" competition , if you can't take it (like another poster already said) leave.... haven't even played one game to see who is better under the gun.. can't progress as a team with "public" cry baby $hi+ hindering the growth of this team. I thought we got past that Bull$#i+! C'mon Gil show some heart!

Btw...Gil was one of my favorite recruits in his class...hate to see him complain before one game... competition is what made Miami great....if all is true about him going public....this type of attitude is a locker room red flag imo....we should never hear about this stuff publicly....keep it to yourself cuz it makes you look soft...

I always thought Gil should’ve been a Cb from the get go. Thought he was built for it in this system long can run just need technique

He'd be a great CB, but he can't cover. I knew from the Paradise Camp videos of him trying to cover WRs that his future wasn't as a CB.

LSU player already left the team twice.... Had off the field issues...also, my beef isn't leaving.... it's how you go about it...he shouldn't have let it get out publicly...

as a general point to people saying there is no point in transferring this year.

It is literally the perfect year to transfer if youre not happy, logistically speaking.

Transfers have to sit out a year usually, but this year will not count towards eligibility. So while they sit a year, they dont lose a year of eligibility.

Playing this season is a big question mark anyway. Games may be cancelled, some guys dont feel safe, etc. Some kids are sitting out out anyway.

So if you want to transfer, this is the year to do it.

Not sure. But the alternative is either targeting portal kids only to lose a year of eligibility or forcing them to sit 2 years. Both those seem kind of unfair i think.

All kids don't whine on social media when they get upset before the first game of the season...I can see a returning starter kinda ****ed off....he came into camp battling for the position...no need to cry just try your best in the game you dicided to play in....if you officially lose that spot or feel like bouncing from reduced PT..... then announce you're leaving the program.....there is no way to justify bi+ching (if true) while you're still in the battle...could possibly send a bad message (quitter) to your coaches and teammates...I'm definitely pulling for Gil to stick it out... can't afford to lose any depth right now period....hope both players are able to shine....

Understood, but money season comes in alot of forms..i.e im declaring f4 da draft, i have to put a whole year on tape instead 4 or 5 games last yr, im now draft eligible so its time to get serious about ur/my craft or sport ur trying to go pro in! There is plenty more.
