What plan do you think he told them that they understood? Do you think he walked them through schemes and what to do on third down and 5? He gave them the same speech he gave to the people in his Temple press conference. "Explosive plays. We're not looking to drive the ball down the field. We're trying to score quick. We'll be tough, blah blah in the red zone and run the football" Mention the spread and high tempo. Throw in some buzz words and keep it moving.

Football people hate talking to non-football people about football.
 
If it’s Ponce it’s terrible guy runs all of about 6 plays (sound familiar) watch app state film they run the same zone read play 500 times in a row and throw play action might as well run the **** triple option

Diaz took one of the worst defenses in Miami history, immediately turned it around while installing a new system using Dorito recruits, and continued to improve that defense. What he did this year, considering the pressure the offense and punt team put on his defense, was nothing short of elite.

They were 16th in scoring offense and 38th in total yards. Scored 31 offensive points at Penn State. Put up numbers in conference and won the championship game. Does App State just recruit better and have more talent than the rest of the conference because on the surface the numbers look good?

I think he ,at the very least, gave him names and broad ideas of the schemes they run. Considering the offense was such an abortion....I'm sure it went into even more detail than that.

Or maybe....the adminstration is even more clueless and apathetic than even I thought possible.

Either way, what's transpired here in a 24 hour span just further highlights the **** show this program has become and why we've fallen so far. None of this is an accident. Cause and effect.
 
Satterfield’s offenses were run based. None of the QB’s that played under Ponce were very good passers

Shocked? Not at all. I dont think no one is.

It's almost like The University of Miami is the playboy mansion with Caitlyn Jenner hiring Ricky Martin as a an Orgy organizer.

Of course it would. What about Manny suggests he would risk his one shot at his dream job by hiring this dude as his OC? The admin doesn’t make the hire.

Let's sit back and watch my friend. After what I've witnessed here both tonight and over the last 20 years.....the pattern screams some form of incompetence is coming. Nobody want's a top notch OC more than I do, but I won't believe it until he's signed, sealed , and delivered. Multiple sources have tweeted out about this Frank Ponce clown now. It just feels like everytime there is a bad rumor lately...it comes true with regards to this program.
