Many of you know that I said long ago that my one wish before my Lord and Savior calls me home is that I could stay around long enough to see the Canes win #6 and be relevant again.

Well Mario has made us relevant and if he can get us #6 I’ll be able to go on home with a smile on my face.

Old enough to remember Ariz scoffing at D$’s top 5 class prediction, and crying for a week straight about UF “out recruiting” us in April. Good times.

Welcome!
I don’t know. Pete might be suffering from SSS

Soft Shoulderness Syndrome (SSS)
Pronunciation: soft-SHOUL-der-ness

Clinical Definition

Soft Shoulderness Syndrome (SSS) is a behavioral condition characterized by a marked inability to withstand ordinary adversity, discomfort, criticism, or responsibility. Affected individuals exhibit a rapid collapse in confidence when exposed to even mildly inconvenient life events.

While often mistaken for fatigue or bad luck, SSS is most commonly identified by the phrase:

“Nah, I’m good.”

…immediately after encountering the smallest obstacle.

Diagnostic Criteria

A diagnosis may be considered if 5 or more of the following are observed:

☐ Quits after the first setback.

☐ Describes minor inconveniences as “trauma.”

☐ Believes every challenge is “not worth the stress.”

☐ Frequently asks someone else to “just handle it.”

☐ Avoids accountability with Olympic-level precision.

☐ Thinks carrying two grocery bags at once is “doing too much.”

☐ Considers assembling IKEA furniture an unfair life event.

☐ Says “I’m built different”… but folds immediately under pressure.

☐ Requires a motivational speech before performing routine tasks.

☐ Has never uttered the phrase, “I’ll figure it out.”

Severity Scale

Stage I – Cushioned
  • Mild discomfort triggers sighing.
  • Complains, but eventually completes the task.
Stage II – Marshmallow
  • Begins negotiating before the challenge has started.
  • Frequently seeks the easiest possible exit.
Stage III – Pillow Grade
  • Retreats at the first sign of resistance.
  • Mistakes constructive criticism for a personal attack.
Stage IV – Memory Foam (Critical)
  • Experiences complete motivational collapse after receiving a mildly worded email.
  • May require immediate encouragement and snacks.
Known Triggers
  • Flat tires
  • Slow Wi-Fi
  • Minor criticism
  • Long checkout lines
  • Dead phone battery
  • “Can we talk for a minute?”
  • Being told, “Read the instructions.”

Maybe Woodard can be a Mekai Lemon to Brysen as JJ, and Lennear as a Chris Olave

24/7 composite shows us at #3 for 2027 but we have the highest player average.

We knew Mario was going to kill it after a Natty appearance.
He was killing it before, hence the Natty appearence. Would love to hear D do a pod on revisiting the last 3 recuiting/portal classes and how they may have been underrated.
